Jul 17, 2006 12oz, no date. Pours a clear golden copper with a small off-white head. Cereal grain sweetness, Belgian yeast, somewhat fruity esters, and a metallicky aroma. The hops kind of remind me of an ESB--biscuity malts seep in and take over. There is a Belgian quality at some point--mainly the aroma. This beer cannot decide what the hell style it’s supposed to be. Almost seems like a well-balanced APA’s attempt at a Belgian--or just a half-assed Avery brew-which I didn’t expect from these guys. Maybe their attempt at "hitting the mainstream." Not impressed.

Jul 14, 2006 Nice perfumy nose with lemon and hints of dough. Pours a crystal orange. Tastes sweet with a soft carbonation. After smelling it, I was expecting a lot more. Decent beer, but it doesn’t do it for me.

Jul 9, 2006 This was actually kind of tasty, with an interesting hint of yeastiness, followed by some sugar dipped butter biscuits. Nice fruit upfront, with some lingering spiciness, light and refreshing.

Jul 3, 2006 From bottle. Pours a hazy orange with off white head. Nose is floral with some bready malts. Flavor is a sweeter rendition of the nose. Very lightly spiced by the yeast. Light body, but makes a nice summer drinker.
