Commercial Description:
We believe in Karma. We suspect most of you do, too. It truly is a global concept. Very simply put, "you get what you give." Inspired by this principle and the wonderful farmhouse and pale ales of Belgium, we've created Karma Ale, a decidedly fruity and estery ale, intricate in body and nose, all driven by a unique Belgian yeast strain. Remember, good things DO happen to good people. Here's to being good!

12oz, no date. Pours a clear golden copper with a small off-white head. Cereal grain sweetness, Belgian yeast, somewhat fruity esters, and a metallicky aroma. The hops kind of remind me of an ESB--biscuity malts seep in and take over. There is a Belgian quality at some point--mainly the aroma. This beer cannot decide what the hell style it’s supposed to be. Almost seems like a well-balanced APA’s attempt at a Belgian--or just a half-assed Avery brew-which I didn’t expect from these guys. Maybe their attempt at "hitting the mainstream." Not impressed.

On tap at Brickskeller. Pours a hazy pale with syrupy, floral aroma. Taste is similar - notes of citrus, floral and bit of spice.

Nice perfumy nose with lemon and hints of dough. Pours a crystal orange. Tastes sweet with a soft carbonation. After smelling it, I was expecting a lot more. Decent beer, but it doesn’t do it for me.

This was actually kind of tasty, with an interesting hint of yeastiness, followed by some sugar dipped butter biscuits. Nice fruit upfront, with some lingering spiciness, light and refreshing.

From bottle. Pours a hazy orange with off white head. Nose is floral with some bready malts. Flavor is a sweeter rendition of the nose. Very lightly spiced by the yeast. Light body, but makes a nice summer drinker.

Cloudy orange color, white head. Fruity flavor. Good beer. Crisp. Not to bitter, kind of sweet.
