Commercial Description:
We believe in Karma. We suspect most of you do, too. It truly is a global concept. Very simply put, "you get what you give." Inspired by this principle and the wonderful farmhouse and pale ales of Belgium, we've created Karma Ale, a decidedly fruity and estery ale, intricate in body and nose, all driven by a unique Belgian yeast strain. Remember, good things DO happen to good people. Here's to being good!

I love most Avery beers. Who can fault a brewery who gave us the Trinity and the Unholy Trinity among other offerings. This was a big disappointment. Deep amber in color with a fleeting white head. Sweet, fruity aroma. Apples, honeydew, caramel, citrus. Light bodied, watery, ample carbonation. Slightly sweet flavor with a bitter finish but totally forgettable.

Pours a medium dark amber. Aromas of orange, caramel, and some hops. Flavors are malty, orange, touch of hops. Not a favorite style.

WOW, this beer is a let down and a half....has a slightly strange aftertaste...copper colour...ok head...to be considered a belgian ale is stupid, someone might try this and think all belgian ales sucked this bad.i know i’m being a little harsh on this beer, but come on avery!!

Golden orange pour with a thin white head. Aroma is intesting. Almost an orange aroma or mellon. The flavor is smooth and not very flavorful. For a beer that calls itself a belgian ale its just about the most "session" belgian ale I’ve tasted. Its not bad by any stretch, but its just not something that excites the taste buds.

12oz:. Pours a golden red/brownish cloudy color, smallish head, big bubbles, off-white, diminishing. Strong aroma of malts, hops, light perfume/citrus. Don’t know how well they all blend together though. Smooth, fruity, flower, citrus. Malty aftertaste. Slighty acidic taste. Medium to light body.

Pours clear copper with off-white head that it a bit patchy. Aroma is caramel malt with a bit of Belgium yeast and a hint of citrus. Medium bodied beer with mild carbonation. Lightly toasted caramel malt taste. Finish has spicy and bitter hops. Very little Belgium taste to the beer. Nice easy drinking beer, but doesn’t seem very Belgium.

This isn’t bad karma, more like boring karma...probably like what an accountant might find waiting for them in the next life. And unfortunately, it doesn’t smell Belgian in the least.
Beer is a clear medium amber with a small, frothy, off-white, mostly and quickly diminishing head.
The aroma is malty with a moderate note of toasted grain, light notes of cookie and caramel; hoppy with moderate notes of resin/pine, grapefruit, herb. Looked hard for what the touted yeast strain contributed—couldn’t smell anything out. Maybe a touch of bread dough and B Vitamin.
The flavor was moderately sweet, lightly bitter, moderately acidic with a long, moderately acidic, lightly sweet finish.
The body is light, the texture is watery and the carbonation is lively.
