Commercial Description:
We believe in Karma. We suspect most of you do, too. It truly is a global concept. Very simply put, "you get what you give." Inspired by this principle and the wonderful farmhouse and pale ales of Belgium, we've created Karma Ale, a decidedly fruity and estery ale, intricate in body and nose, all driven by a unique Belgian yeast strain. Remember, good things DO happen to good people. Here's to being good!

For the first Avery product I’ve consumed, I must say that I wasn’t blown away at all. I realize that this is not their flagship beer, just one of their stable of beers. While it wasn’t horrible, I can say it wasn’t great either. A fruity aroma albeit toned WAY down. A hazy dark golden/orange color with a white head. Mouthfeel was a bit harsh with a ton of carbonation. Flavor was a bit fruity, some nice esters going on, slightly crisp and a bit peppery. Overall a nice beer, but there are sooo many other better Belgian ale available, I don’t think I will revist this unless I find it really cheap or free.

Hazy amber with a white cloying head. Toffee, slightly butterish aromas. Sweet toffee and butter flavours, butterscotch biscuits. Quite fizzy. Too fat for my taste.

Pours a golden brown with some orange and red highlights. Very obscure, cloudy, sediment abounds it seems. head is extremely large, frothy, long lasting, and annoyingly long to dissipate when trying to pour. Smell is very light hops, acidic, fruits...you have to really stick your nose in the glass to pick up on the flavors. Taste is a little watery, thin on the tongue. Flavors include roasted malt, burnt onions, vegetable and acidic lemon. Aftertaste is roasted malt, bread dough, and boric acid. OMG!! just looked up and saw this is susposed to be a Belgin...hahahahaha. thought it was yet another banged up, overfilled palate of a mainstream IPA or APA

pours orange-copper with a small compact creamy off-white head, aroma of spices, pine hops, and citrus. Flavor is a little over carbonated for such little mouth fill, sweet malts, slightly bitter, nothing great the beer fell apart once it was tasted, ok body, better than average but i guess i expected more, silly me.

Lazy, hazy, amber/copper beneath a short, off-white head. Aroma and flavor suggest something went wrong by revealing initial cooked vegetables. Additional fruity notes from the yeasts with banana above weak caramel malts. Alcohol dries the mouth sharply after a buttery feel and lingers with sourness. Maybe I’ve just got some <a href=http://www.barlowz.net/extra/rimshot.wav>< Karma...

Pours a two-finger cream head that fades slowly leaving a little lace. Cloudy amber color. Malty/hoppy nose. Good carbonation and medium bodied. Starts with the hops dominating but not overpowering, malts are there, finish has a slight bitterness. $2.10 for a 12oz bottle from Julio’s Liquors Westborough, Ma.

Amber color, spicy, earthy, sourish, not great, on the thin side. Something was not quite right.
