Jan 25, 2006 Some sour/tart yeasty components up front. Big caramel and toffee roasted maltiness. Very fruity and yeast heavy throughout. Sour finish seems to intrude abruptly and ends with a bit of metallic tinge.

Jan 9, 2006 Deep amber with a quick-to-die off-white head, this ale has a toffee and caramel nose, lightly fruity, with yeast and a touch of earthy hop bitterness. The toffee surges forward in the flavor and the drink takes a somewhat tart turn. Tastes promised by the nose seem to recede. The finish is mildly sour and bitter. Jan 5, 2006 12 oz. bottle. A Belgian? A Belgian?!? Come on. Ok... Pours a pleasant amber color with a large, creamy head that fills up my pint glass. I suppose I get a hint of Belgian in the aroma, with a little yeast and banana. The first sip is deceptively hoppy; it quickly tapers off into a flat, slightly metallic twinge; slight fruitiness; too bitter and sour. Very clean, light-bodied mouthfeel. A weak Belgian. Almost more reminiscent of a strong vienna than a Belgian.

Jan 3, 2006 this smells great, a little like fresh flowers. it pours pretty too. smooth drinking, with earthy and fruit notes, accenting the hops. i bet this’d go great with a sandwich; i should get one of those.

Dec 31, 2005 Bottle. An interesting aroma. It smells like it went bad. I’m a bit underwhelmed by the falvor. Tastes bready and a little fruity.

Dec 20, 2005 Pours light brown/copper with a rocky white head. Smells breaddy with some fruity undertones. Tastes of chewable vitamins, yogurt, tangy fruit. Mouthfeel is a bit thin and tingly. Finish is fruity and tarte.
