jeffwilliams11 (278), hooterville, Michigan, USA Oct 13, 2008 aroma and flavor are dominated by funky yeastieness. no hop presence at all, subdued malt background. this beer is all yeast. Butters (425), Temporarily in Nashville, Tennessee, USA Sep 29, 2008 Hazy orange mustard with amber highlights and soapy offwhite head. Nose of citrusy fruit, like grapefruit. Flavor is belgian yeast, and slightly dusty? semi-bitter finish. Didn’t care for this too much. KimJohansen (4299), Copenhagen V, Denmark Sep 20, 2008 Clear amber with medium off white creamy head. Sweet yeasty aroma with ripe fruits and toasted malt. Sweet yeasty flavor with ripe fruits, caramel and spicy hints. clasley (139), Arkansas, USA Sep 18, 2008 355 ml bottle. Pours a hazy straw hued amber with a nice beige head. Fruity citrus nose with a slight earthy funk. Medium to light body with copious carbonation. Rather fruity profile with light spice notes from the yeast. Rather quick finish with just a touch of residual tart sweetness. bearlybrewed (14), Colorado, USA Sep 15, 2008 Not really a belgian beer drinker, however, I enjoyed this one on a hot summer day. Pour was a golden amber hue with a lighter head. Aroma was somewhat sweet with some fruit (couldn’t quite discern specifically). Light on the aftertaste which was quite pleasant. Loved it as did those I shared it with.
