Commercial Description:
We believe in Karma. We suspect most of you do, too. It truly is a global concept. Very simply put, "you get what you give." Inspired by this principle and the wonderful farmhouse and pale ales of Belgium, we've created Karma Ale, a decidedly fruity and estery ale, intricate in body and nose, all driven by a unique Belgian yeast strain. Remember, good things DO happen to good people. Here's to being good!

Smell is mostly light toasty grain and slightly sour citrus. Flavor is very bland biscuity with the carbonation floating an apricot spritz around your mouth, ending with the sour citrus again. Mouthfeel is balanced throughout temp but comes off slimy as it warms. Weird to me, I don’t hate it but can’t imagine buying it again. Thanks Avery. 2009 12 oz.

Pours orange with a white head. Aroma is sweet and fruity. Flavor is bready malt, a bit of apple fruitiness, and some light grassy hop. Will have to try this one again as it is listed as a spring seasonal.

Rich golden pour. White head. Smell has some apple, lemon zest, bread and a hint of honey. Flavor is a letdown. Very bland. Some lemon, yeast, light bread and very light caramel. Meh.

Bottle from citywide. Pours a clear dark gold with a white foamy head. Aroma of pear and apple yeast esters, rum, caramel, candied sugar. Flavor is sweet caramel, candy, fruits, and bread. Huh. This was different. too sweet, but I enjoyed this.

Nice clear golden brown color. Two finger off-white head that leaves some nice lacing. Spicy citrus notes are all but overpowered by bubblegum scents. A tiny bit of malt pokes through. A small bit of spice notes right up front give way to the bubblegum/citrus flavor combo and are then followed by a light hoppy bite at the end. Nice and creamy with a great carbonation level. Could be a good session beer. I would have a problem with the hoppy bite it has, but could probably get around it, as it is minimal.

12-oz bottle. Stiff white head. Aroma light. Flavor to match aroma. Understated. Light flavor. Mild apricot/honey up front blending into rather sour citrus taste. Dandelion finish. Pleasant but unmemorable.
