Mephistopheles is the crafty shape shifter, the second fallen angel. Amazingly complex, coal black, velvety and liqueurish, this demon has a bouquet of vine-ripened grapes, anise and chocolate covered cherries with flavors of rum-soaked caramelized dark fruits and a double espresso finish. Mephistopheles is the final installment of "The Demons of Ale" series.

Nice black color with a short lived head. Cholate and coffee through out. Alcohol comes out as it warms up. Pretty good stout, but seemed alittle sweet

Aroma of dark fruit, biscuit, caramel and alcohol. The flavor is very nice, with dark fruit, coffee and a smokey aftertaste. Perhaps a bit too alcoholic, but still nice.

Pours thick with a full brown head that lingers. Aroma is of prunes, molasses, and cocoa. mouthfeel is thick. It tastes sweet and fruity with a cocoa finish. The alcohol level is very apparent throughout. It warms you right up and keeps you satisfied!

This has to be the grandaddy of beer. It pours almost deep black with a dark brown head. The nose is espresso, dark chocolate, roasted malt, hints of yeast and citrus. The tasted is very full body thick kinda creamy/ velvety, With chocolate, coffee, caramelized malts, and hints of hops on the end. It finishes and stays on your palate a bit longer

this is an amazing beer. the abv catches you completely off guard. scent is of coffee and taste is full of flavor with coffee, licorish, cherry tartness, and a little bit of hops. alcohol is hidden well, but can certainly be experienced. as soon as you swallow, you get the warming sensation of the alcohol. i would recommend this beer to anyone who could handle a dark imperial stout. this is an excellent beer.

Bottle Batch 3, all the way from Beer and Keg World Boca Raton Florida. Pours a solid black beer with a huge tan creamy head. Aroma is a dark oil of dark chocolate and dark fruit. Flavor is an intense kick of roast liquerish and chocolate with a strong alcohol finish, which is good. I love this beer thanks J tiki

Bottle, batch 2. Pours near black with a tan head. Roasted aroma with dark chocolate, wood and a hint at cherry like fruit. Palate is bit boozy and harsh, but it really doesn’t diminish the overall experience. Roasted flavor, a bit sweet even, with dark chocolate and a long coffee finish. Very nice.

Very Strong Stout. Hides the alcohol really well. Cherries, Chocklates, Malts, really complex.
