Aroma mainly of fruit not entirely sure what type, more citrusy than anything from the dry-hopping with hints of coffee and chocolate. Flavor is big on roasted mocha, with hints of caramel and chocolate. Alcohol is nicely balanced. stchloe (491), Portland, Oregon, USA

Nose of roasty chocolate, mild maltiness topped with a pleasant citrus/spicy hop presence. Roasty, chocolate and dry caramel with a firm bitter end. Fairly light in mouth, with slight astringency and nice carb, well-balanced. A solid porter spiked with some hops. fidel (1015), Livermore, California, USA

| 3.8 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 4/5 | 8/10 | 4/5 | 15/20 | Oct 27, 2008 Porter received as extra in trade. Pours dark brown with tan head. Aroma of big roasted malts, light hops. Taste is similar with more malt, caramel, and hops. A little more hopped than most, if not all, porters. Mouth is smooth and creamy. Overall, a solid and unique porter. Beardface (1036), Eugene, Oregon, USA
| 3.9 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 4/5 | 8/10 | 4/5 | 16/20 | Oct 27, 2008 Obviously the big deal with this porter is the fact that the dry hops have been thrown in, and boy do they ever show up in force! I would love to see other brewers try this as well, as this has a great roasty and smoky flavor and the hops add a little more oomph to the whole package. douglas88 (1679), Salt Lake City, Utah, USA
| 3.9 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 4/5 | 7/10 | 4/5 | 17/20 | Oct 25, 2008 Bottle thanks to Dakine. Pours a dark brown hue with a large light brown head. The aroma is very nice; lots of roasted notes, some light hops, and some smoke. The taste is very nice; lots of caramel, roasted malts, and a citrus hop. Very unusual, but quite nice. Smooth and full bodied, definitely robust. Very nice. Quite unique and yet very approachable.
