Commercial Description:
A traditional black porter, with a surprise twist - it's dry-hopped!! We've expanded the porter category a bit, adding a delightful, dry hop aroma to blend with the sweet caramel and chocolate characteristics of a Robust Porter.

Pours jet black with a tall tan head. Looks like a stout. Aroma of roasted malts, caramel and hops. Coffee, roasted malts, caramel and a hint of hops make up the taste. Better if beer is just slightly cool. Nice twist.

Dark brown/black pour with a medium foamy tan head that fizzes away. Lots of dark roasted malt and coffee, as well as a bit of dark chocolate in the aroma and flavor. The hoppy finish on a porter seems out of place, but really it works well, cutting in to the sweetness a bit. Not bad at all.

12 oz. bottle. Pours a dark brown/black color with a light tan head that dissipates quickly. Aroma of malt and caramel with a hint of roasted coffee beans. The balance b/w the malts and hops is very apparent, it actually more on the malty side which surpised me as I expected it to be more bitter. Medium bodied and easy on the palate.

This tastey brews pours a dark brown colour with a medium sized tan head. Aroma is pleasent, with a well rounded roaste malt character, fresh coffee grounds, and toffee. Mouthfeel is creamy, firm and generous, taste is delightful, finishes very smooth.

Bottle from By The Bottle in Vancouver, WA--Poured a rich brown body with a medium tan head. Hoppy, chocolaty, nutty, licorice nose. Creamy, mild, medium, and highly drinkable. A little roasty and with some coffee notes. Avery rules!
