Commercial Description:
A traditional black porter, with a surprise twist - it's dry-hopped!! We've expanded the porter category a bit, adding a delightful, dry hop aroma to blend with the sweet caramel and chocolate characteristics of a Robust Porter.

Beautiful porter. Very tasty for the style. Aroma was great...strong coffee and bitter chocolate. Pour was near black with a thin one finger tan head. Taste was very coffee-like with a hint of chocolate. Strong roasted malt in the back of the mouth and a bitter aftertaste. Great carbonation. One of the best porters I’ve had.

Deep brown, almost black colour. Extremely pleasant and smooth porter with notes of chocolate, roasted malts, and prunes/raisin. Great smooth palate and a fine dry bitter finish.

12oz bottle. Very dark brown, opaque body. Over 2 finger thick, creamy and bubbly mocha colored head. Stays around for quite a while, only reluctantly fading away bubble by bubble. Tons of sheet lacing all over the sides of the glass. Good looking beer. Aroma is sort of dust, cocoa powder, resiny hops, bitter chocolate, coffee beans and dark, burnt malts. Maybe some licorice and syrup in there as well. Fore is bitter hops and astringent burnt malts, as well as some chocolate and coffee. Very roasty towards the midpoint of the swallow. Medium astringency overall. Creamy palate, appropriate mouthfeel to style. Finish is bitter hops and burnt coffee beans, then fading into a sweet dark chocolate and malt note that stays with you for a very long time. Interesting beer.

Pours dark brown and opaque with a small tan head. Smells of chocolate, citrus and some roastiness. Tastes of chocolate with some orangey elements and decent bitterness. Mouthfeel is slick. Finish is spicy and yields some more hoppiness. The dry hopping did the nose well, but some of the hops they used in this interfere with the malt backbone that defines a good porter.

Poured a clear dark brown color with a small brown head. Milk chocolate aroma with some hops. Decent roasted malt. The flavor is of roasted malt, chocolate, and a hint of coffee grind. The finish had hops and a mild to moderate bitterness. Medium body with a sweet finish.

bottle, liquorloft tallahassee. the dry hopping really makes this a porter i enjoy. the poor is a dark brown with a small creamy head. nose is malt and a very pleasant hit of citrus hops. the taste is much the same being sweet malt up front and finshing with a non overpowering dose of hops. flavor includes chocolate, toffee with a bittersweet kick. great beer.

Pours a dark brown with ruby notes and produces a thin to medium creamy tan head. The nose is sweet, toffee, hops, and grapefruit. The flavor is big up front malt and hops, well balanced, but the hops being more noticeable since they’re atypical of the style. Coffee, bittersweet chocolate, toffee, and caramel. Citrusy, grapefruit, waxy hops. Nice balance on the palate. Waxy mouthfeel and a roasty finish. nice porter.
