Commercial Description:
A traditional black porter, with a surprise twist - it's dry-hopped!! We've expanded the porter category a bit, adding a delightful, dry hop aroma to blend with the sweet caramel and chocolate characteristics of a Robust Porter.

12oz. bottle into pint glass. Pours a thick dark brown with a thick tan head that does not diminish. Aromas of butter, camp-fire and roasted malts. Flavor is of coffee beans and caramel with a slight hoppy bitterness. Mouthfeel is very smooth and thick. Proud to say this is my first dry-hopped porter. I’ll be sure to look for more in the near future.

DRY HOPPED PORTER! Wahoo! Pours an inpeneterable deep brown with a sizable head that leaves good lacing and retains well. Aroma is of espresso, brandy soaked berries, grahm cracker and hopps. Robust roasted black coffee flavours paired with intense hop bitterness with a mild acidity and subtle berry flavours. This stuff is incredible. The combonation of flavours gives the impression of espresso. The advertised caramel and chocolate flavours are also there. Creamy mouthfeel and long roasty palate with a bone-dry finish. I could have a new favorite porter.

This beer pours a dark brown with a huge head that last for a while and has really nice laceing to it. There is a nice aroma of burnt wood and coffee malt with a mild bitter sweetness to it. as you drink it the beer is very bitter and has a nice burnt flavor on the tip of your tounge. the palate is very mild containing mostly chocolate and coffee with hints of toffee and a roasted flavor of the three combined.

I really wish I could find more dry hopped porters. They really are a treat. Deep and robust, but with bonus hoppage. Hopefully, this can become one of my main beers in the future.

Had a bottle of this whilst smashing some left over phad tai after work. Nose of potpourri, flowers, spice, caramel, berries, cashew brittle, and caramel. Pours a very dark brown with garnet highlights. A wicked cascade resolves into a fully lasting tall stiff, creamy & rocky mocha head that leaves a thin curtain of lace. This is without a doubt the best porter I’ve sampled in a LONG time! The complexity and depth leave me speachless. No shortage of roasted coffee notes, also moderate acidity is present with a huge floral finish that is again espresso like. The full chewy body is very lively and very dry. This definitely caught me by surprise.

Pours dark with a tan head. Smells of chocolate and hops. Has flavors of coffee and molasses. Very good porter and will happily purchase again.

Smells like coffee and works the opposite. I haven’t had many porters, but this may have converted me. Really well balanced, well crafted flavor. Savory. I will be getting more.

Deep black pour with a fine mocha cap. The nose is solid - coffee beans, sweet chocolate, cocoa, molasses and brown sugar. The body borders on chewy, which is nice for the style. More roasted notes emerge, with lots of residual sweetness as well. The body finishes nicely bitter. Good, good stuff.
