Commercial Description:
A traditional black porter, with a surprise twist - it's dry-hopped!! We've expanded the porter category a bit, adding a delightful, dry hop aroma to blend with the sweet caramel and chocolate characteristics of a Robust Porter.

On tap at the Oak Room in Athens. Black, with a large loose tan head. Wow, this is like merger of a porter and an IPA. Impressive hops blend with the chocolate malt. Finish is long and sweet.

Dark brown nearly black with brown creamy head. Roasted coffee and caramel malty. Smooth filling body. Slight sweet before a dry bitter end. All around quite simple but very drinkable/pleasant!

Bottle: Black in color, large rocky beige head, clumpy lacing.   Earthen roasted malt nose, slight cocoa and coffee.   Forwardly hoppy, roasted malts are quick to follow, somewhat dry cocoa aspect rounds out the exit.   Remains earthy throughout.   Moderate body and mouthfeel.   Finish is dry, loaded with cocoa and bakers chocolate.   Subtle background of earthy bitterness.   Fairly good porter, just wished it was a bit thicker.   Lingering tart roastiness.
