Commercial Description:
A traditional black porter, with a surprise twist - it's dry-hopped!! We've expanded the porter category a bit, adding a delightful, dry hop aroma to blend with the sweet caramel and chocolate characteristics of a Robust Porter.

The appearance is milky and thick. Dark brown with frothy lace. Not much head, but great thick lace. The aroma is a hefty pine hops, over a roasted coffee malt. Bitter on both ends baby. The heavy, butter aromas work well together. The taste is bitter, burnt coffee. Gives a bite on the way down. The hops come in as a second wave to block the burnt and add some woody sweetness. Ashy bonfire embers. Smoky and woody together. The feel is thick and gritty. Has a burn at the swallow. One of the hoppier porters I’ve ever had. Damn nice.

Bottle. Pours near black with a small light brown head. Aroma is of roast malt, sweet yet subtle. Flavor is quite roasty as well. Not bad at all.

Smells fresh, light and hoppy. Looks dark black with cream color head. Tastes very clean, hoppy, but with a thick cream edge. Med. bodied. Pretty good but not amazing.

Bottle Pours a nice deep black with a light brown head. The head is lasting and creamy. Produces decent lacing. Has a nice aroma of coffee, roasted malts, and floral hops. Has a good carbonation. The mouthfeel is good with a sharp kick. Flavor is as expected. Good chocolate and coffee, then hit with decent hops. This is a tasty beer. Has a good balance. Has a thickier than water texture. A pretty decent finish with a nice aftertaste. I like hops and porters so this is a natural for me .

Bottle. Pours black with a small and short lasting brown head. Coffe, rosted malts and chocolate. A bit to thin body to carry all the flavours.

Bought a 12 oz bottle at Huckleberries in Spokane. Pours very dark brown with a long lasting tannish head. The hop aftertaste overpowered everything else here for me. I wouldn’t buy this one again.... It does improve as it warms.

Bottle at McRaneys. Black body. Go to smelll and before you can smell the malts you’re hit with lots of hops. The taste is very porterish with coffee and chocolate, but with hops.

Bottle. Pours near black with a beige head. Roasted malt aroma with loads of floral hops. The flavor brings roasted malt, hints of coffee and chocolate, followed by a solid dose of floral hops. Pretty good.
