Commercial Description:
A traditional black porter, with a surprise twist - it's dry-hopped!! We've expanded the porter category a bit, adding a delightful, dry hop aroma to blend with the sweet caramel and chocolate characteristics of a Robust Porter.

A little light for a porter, but with a twist. The dry hopping is very noticable, but very good. A must try

Malt, bread and light coffee dominate the aroma. Lovely balance combined with the fact that I am a fan of dry, roasted and bitter finishes = A winner. A great porter indeed.

Thick Black IPA (think that it’ll help for those who are new to dark beers). Lovely head (that off of draft) will stay with you untill the end of the pint. Great porter for those cold winter night.

Pours muddy black with a avg rocky brown head. Aroma is heavily malty, dark bread, roasted malts, strong coffee, lightly hopped, and moderatly yeasty, broth or meat. Flavor is well balanced nutty and roasted malts, finish much the same, with an average finish. Medium bodied watery and creamy, softly carbonated.

I could drink these Porters all day long. Big aroma, big head, chocolate roast flavor, full body, everything you could expect from a Porter before you get really fancy and less accessible.

Another nice beer from Avery. This is not my favorite porter but it is pretty damn good. Has a nice malty aroma. Pours a dark brown with a pretty respectable head. Lots of roasted malt and chocolate flavor. Decent hop presence.

Pours a black color with a brown head. Aroma is of roasted malts, chocolate, coffee, and some citrus hops. Flavor starts off with the roasted malts, chocolate, caramel, and coffee. Finishes with some bitterness from the dry-hopping. An interesting but delicious porter.
