Commercial Description:
A traditional black porter, with a surprise twist - it's dry-hopped!! We've expanded the porter category a bit, adding a delightful, dry hop aroma to blend with the sweet caramel and chocolate characteristics of a Robust Porter.

12 oz. bottle from Plaza Liquor - Pours a dark brown color with a one finger thick light tan head. Light spotty lacing. Has a playdough aroma. No shit. I kinda like it. Has a roasted malt and chocolate flavor. Has a dry roasted aftertaste. Medium body. A decent beer.

The aroma is average for a porter with the requisite burnt malt, chocolate, and caramel. The appearance is dark brown with a slight red hue. The head is sort of smallish, maybe two fingers. The flavor is heavy with the burnt malt taste followed by an astringent hopping. There is some chocolate and caramel in there but not enough to save it. The palate is nice and smooth. The flavors in this one don’t seem to come together, they are layered with the astringent bitterness leaving the last impression.

Color was very dark, with hints of brown. Beige head. Aroma of roasted malt and chocolate. Palate was fairly smooth, with some stickiness. Flavor mellowed quickly. Tasted like a standard porter, but ligther.

Pours a nice dark brown (almost black) with a thick tan head. Aroma is pleasant with notes of malt, roasted, smoke and fruit. This beer has a perfect palate, nice and creamy with a crisp finish. Flavors are chocolate, coffee, malts, caramel, and some vanilla. An Outstanding Porter !!

Bottle. Pours dark mahogany black with medium tan head. The aroma is raisin, wood, and earthy hops. The flavor has quite a bit of caramel, along with the same earthy hops as the aroma. Wood and chocolate come out at first, and the finish gets somewhat ashy. I like this.
