Commercial Description:
A traditional black porter, with a surprise twist - it's dry-hopped!! We've expanded the porter category a bit, adding a delightful, dry hop aroma to blend with the sweet caramel and chocolate characteristics of a Robust Porter.

Bottled. Dark ruby red colour, mediumsized foamy beige head. Aroma is dark chocolate and malts. Flavour is coffee, malts and chocolate. Not too much roast in it, which is a bit sad. Otherwise very nice.

Nutty, toasty aroma with maybe a hint of chocolate. Virtually no head, minimal lacing, but a reddish brown color that is magnificent. Starts with a warm cocoa flavor, passing to some sweetness, but enough hop shows up at the end to balance the whole. This may be the first ale (oops, porter) that I would credit with a nutty characteristic. The mouth feel is stout, the flavor is porter. Really a tour de force.

Sweet, toasty, slightly nutty and slightly roasty aroma, some fruity hops; chocolate, caramel, plum, and date flavor over a somewhat chewy body, smooth, roasty nicely bitter finish; some eathy and musty notes. This has some stout qualities, but it’s all good to me. Very nice.

(on bottle) Deep dark brown, white head. Sweet aroma, casis and cola. Quiet carbonation, along with a malty full taste. Nite dryness in finish, In the long finish it get´s more soft and barley-like.

Bottle. Pours a deep black body with a rocky medium mocha head. The aroma has rich smooth chocolate and mild smoke. Lots of roasty substance with abrasive chocolate flavour and slightly acidic. Chewy hops and toast maltiness. Very nice.
