| 3.6 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 4/5 | 7/10 | 3/5 | 15/20 | Aug 3, 2008 Amber-brown in colour, creamy and rich beige coloured head, excellent lacing. The aroma is malty, chalky, some chocolate, plums, high sweetness. The aroma is malty, rich, sweet with lots of fruit and some chocolate. Sweet but still some bitterness in the mouthfeel, medium body, medium carbonation. Finishes sweet, fruity and malty.
This dries out at the end but it still lacks a bit of what the Fullers Vintage Ales bring.
355ml bottle obtained in a trade with TheCheeseMan, thanks Dan.

| 3.4 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 3/5 | 6/10 | 3/5 | 15/20 | Jul 8, 2008 Like Fullers 1845, this is a seasonal. But like that beer, it is not a traditional spiced holiday ale. It is a well brewed strong ale. Aromas and flavors of toffee, brown sugar, and roasted malts. uhre (339), Denmark
