(Bottle) Pours a dark brown color with some beige head. Aroma of dark malts and caramel. Taste includes dark fruits, hazelnut, and hops. Not very bitter. Distinct alcoholic aroma and taste. Good palate, and low carbonation. It was all right.

Poured from a bottle. Poured a deep brown color with a moderate off-white head that left decent lacing. Aroma of caramel and spices. Strong malt entry with hints of caramel, toffee, nuts, and spices that lead into a soft, bitter finish. Nice and smooth on the palate. Alcohol is not noticeable. Enjoyed it more than I thought I would.

Pours a deep brown with a touch of red. Thin, tan, quickly dissapearing head. Nose is quite nice with dried fruit and sweet malt. Flavor is malt-rich with hints of toffee, caramel and molasses. A touch of earthiness peaks through as well. Very subtle bitterness finishes it off.
