| 3.5 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 3/5 | 6/10 | 4/5 | 15/20 | Dec 28, 2006 Draft @ Blind Pig. Dark body with amber tint. little head with some lacing. Malty, nutty aroma with pine mixed in. Strong hop and alcohol presence, but lacked the malt sweetness that I really lock for in this style. Enjoyable, but just a little off too... bitbucket (2034), Kirkland, Washington, USA

| 4.2 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 8/10 | 5/5 | 8/10 | 4/5 | 17/20 | Dec 23, 2006 Awesome nosefeel for a hophead that did’t expect it, great color with a nice yeasty head that ended up lacing nicely. Lots of malt + hops that balance beautifuliy. Hints of coffee and the ABV is hidden niclely. Worth saving a bottle or two for next year. Numenor (869), Richmond, Virginia, USA
