Nose... quite malty and slightly roasty. Palate... mildly sweet, malty, nutty, toffee-like, lightly spicy and a long finish. Currently my favourite winter ale (as far as a 12 oz. format). Doesn’t seem at all like an 8% ale. This could sneak up on me, if I’m not careful!

| 4 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 4/5 | 8/10 | 4/5 | 17/20 | Dec 24, 2009 The aroma is that musky malty sense reminding me of Belgium. It has a clear rich amber brown appearance with a small head. The flavor is clear malts with that muskiness showing but in a pleasant way. kitschy (210), Nebraska, USA
| 3.6 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 3/5 | 6/10 | 4/5 | 16/20 | Dec 24, 2009 Dark brown with amber highlights. Rich, smooth beer. If your bartender confuses your Jubilation with a Boulevard Nutcracker, your beer is the one with the delightful aroma and thick palate. rosenbergh (978), Helsinki, Finland

The aroma is a mixture apple, grapes, and caramel malt. The taste begins sweet and finishes with medium sourness. It is a full body brew with a thick texture and long finish. It leaves you with slight alcohol warmth. guyinchicago (535), marengo, Illinois, USA
