Full well coated mouth that drys out your tounge and lingers. Starts w/ some sweet belgian tastes then is overwhelmed by dry wood the cab barrel notes then finishes lightly tart on the tongue. Some sweet breads sneek in. An odd mix of flavors but a nice drink. Aroma is lightly alcoholic forward wood notes definate wine qualities some light sour funk later. Good stuff.

| 4.2 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 8/10 | 4/5 | 8/10 | 4/5 | 18/20 | Sep 24, 2009 On tap @ Avery. Nose is really, really inviting - Brett, some leather and bread and a nice touch of woddy grapes and slight bitterness. Could smell it for a long time. Taste is highly carbonated (unexpected) with the sour brett horseblanket to start and more of the leather and wood. A nice acidic sweetness finishes with hints of vanilla and some fruitiness. Awesome elixir, this. ratman197 (3254), Arvada, Colorado, USA
