Commercial Description:
This big, roasty stout takes flavor to the extreme. We aren't afraid to use plenty of rich roasted barley and a mountain of hops to give this full-bodied stout that little extra something you've been looking for in a beer.

From Villa in Storrs, CT. Nice black color with a thick milkshake head. No thrills, just simple bold coffee & dark chocolate tones. Very malty, strong flavors despite it’s low ABV. Tasty dessert.

A fairly straightforward beer - not to say simple, just direct. Aroma is absolute coffee-charcoal. Flavor is that plus deep dark chocolate. Striking flavor, especially for a 5% beer. Don’t know why it isn’t more highly rated.

12oz bottle. black color with a frothy medium sized light brown head that stuck around for a while . fair bit of lacing also. strong aroma of coffee, dark chocolate and toasted malts. first thought on taste was it was thinner than I expected (for some reason). pretty much a bottom of a cold cup of coffee taste. with a slightly acidic bitter finish. was hoping for a bit more out of this.

THE taste and aroma of count chocula cereal. creamy chocolate powdered sugar and vanilla with a moderate and nice hop input.velvet palate a combination of a good stout and a good hoppy amber or pale ale what with the interesting black and red highlights. a pretty good hybrid and a creation that is to be appreciated but still just a bit off balance. clearly a knowledgeable brewer taking on a challange this beers different flavors morph in you’re mouth. a must drink for advanced beer tasters.

Deep brown pour with tan head. Roasted malts and bitter dark chocolate in the nose. Flavor is roasted malts, chocolate, coffe, and slight vanilla. Rather bitter finish for a dry stout.

Bottled. thanks Tiki Anus for the rate. Pours a dark black coffee color with a tan head. Smells of wood roast and malts. Tastes toffee like with chocolate. Good beer!
