Tart, fruity, sweet, vinous aroma, some trace of the port, with hints of grape, cherry, honey, toast and wood. Clear light-medium amber color, head is off-white and fine. Flavor is strongly winey and woody with some lighter sour touches, lots of grape, honeyish sweetness, perhaps some faint peppery alcohol and late tannins. Acidic, dry, amply carbonated palate, very full body. Interesting, unique stuff.

Tart and also a bit sweet. Deep rich undertones and too easy to drink. My favorite from the tasting room. KAggie97 (2476), Ugly, Hot, and Humid Spring, Texas, USA
