Jun 25, 2008 Bomber with some age. Ruddy orange slightly hazy body, thin cream head cresting this brew. Boozy sweet malts, yeast and some harsh metal hints on the nose. Sweet, lots of alcohol, fruits and grainy. Too heavy in the mouth despite a fair amount of carbonation. Blah, not for me, maybe fresher?

Jun 24, 2008 This one just wasn’t for me. If I wanted to drink rubbing alcohol, I know exactly where to find it. I simply don’t want it in my beer. For me, this had a decisively isopropyl flavor, especially on the finish. Gave me the shivers each time I would swallow the sip. The aroma has a pleasant fruityness, combined with a clean malt/yeast profile really had me going for a second. This just failed to deliver. Overly sweet, too much alcohol...just bleh.

Jun 24, 2008 draft. fruity belgian yeast aroma and a mild spice. slightly sweet with a pleasant mild bitter, and warming alcohol edge. mild carbonation. very enjoyable.

Jun 18, 2008 Nice clear gold with bright white big head. Nose of fruit and spice. Flavor has a little banana, clove and sweetness from the malt. Alcohol is well hidden with the explosive flavors. Finish leaves a nice sweet coating on the palate.

Jun 17, 2008 Poured from the bottle with a smallish off-white head that chose an early exit. Sort of hazy yellow/orange, more yellow but a lot going on in the aroma. Apricot, banana, and spices of clove and cinnamon came through. Much fuller body than I expected - lots of sugar and spice. I enjoyed the flavor, the drawbacks for me being a bit too much sweetness and a slightly chalky finish.

Jun 16, 2008 on tap @ Coles Buffalo NY. Pours pretty deep golden color. Sweet fruity aroma of peach, caramel. Flavor of caramel sweetness, alcohol tingles the palte. Pretty spicy. Nice beer

Jun 14, 2008 Looks piss yellow, VERY deceiving, it tastes pretty damn good, smells like a dark brew but it is light in color, definitely the characterists and taste of a belgian strong ale, this ones not bad.

Jun 5, 2008 Aroma of ripe fruit, raisins, plums, apricot, with some spice in the backdrop. Flavour is malty, and fruity. The alcohol is present, and it welcome, a nice warming down my throat, a nice solid belgian strong.
