Commercial Description:
The success of HOG HEAVEN and THE REVEREND clearly demonstrates that beer drinkers are willing to embrace "BIGGER" beers. In the fall of 2001, we decided that a lighter BIG BEER would complement its darker colored predecessors. Salvation has luscious apricot and peach aromas delicately interwoven with spicy suggestions of nutmeg and cinnamon. This heavenly soft, champagne-like elixir is cellarable for 3 years.

Pours a hazy orange with a medium-sized white head with light lacing. Nose is of spice , yeast, and fruit. Taste is similar to the aroma with fruit and spices. Additionally, there is a good bit of sweetness. Mouthfeel is medium bodied with moderate carbonation.

A very good American made Belgian which is rare. Aroma of light fruit, yeast and spices. Pour was a near perfect dark orange with a huge four finger white head. Taste was not too sweet whcih, in my opinion, it usually is. Heavy on the spices and fruit with a nice dry finish and heavy carbonation. Mouthfeel was not too thick and balanced the beer out. Very nice.

This is a beautiful beer, full of all the "trappings" of a Trappist beer with its yeast profile with some luscious scents of apricot, starfruit, and also West Coast aromatics. The bitterness comes through in the finish from the alcohol, and it’s got a sticky texture that leaves a fruity sensation on the tongue, hitting all the senses and nestling there. Some salty sea-water notes in the finish. Great and unique.

Orangy opaque in colour with light lacing head. You can smell the apricot and peach and a bit of the alcohol. The taste is very fruity and has a lot of bite. It’s like a typical strong ale but fruity. It’s a very unexpected twist on a traditional style. This is a very consistent and complex beer. Kudos!

Bottle. Golden color with a big billowy white head that lasts. Aroma is fruity, cherries, peaches with some funky belgian yeast notes, almost a cough syrupy aroma. Quite flavorful and very easy drinking and quenching for the ABV. Again, fruit with a belgian character, some spicy notes, candi sugar; semi dry with a crisp bite. Full to med body. Very flavorful, very good.
