Commercial Description:
The success of HOG HEAVEN and THE REVEREND clearly demonstrates that beer drinkers are willing to embrace "BIGGER" beers. In the fall of 2001, we decided that a lighter BIG BEER would complement its darker colored predecessors. Salvation has luscious apricot and peach aromas delicately interwoven with spicy suggestions of nutmeg and cinnamon. This heavenly soft, champagne-like elixir is cellarable for 3 years.

Bottle. Medium high white creamy and lastinhg head. Hazy orange body. Clear and distinct barley malt aroma. Barley malt flavor without much bitterness but on the other hand the high alcohol percentage is well hidden. Carbonation low. Aftertaste long and good barley malt.

Pours a yellow/ golden color. Big white puffy head with bubbles in the body. Alcohol content is well hidden by the taste of yeast and fruit. Some what sour flavor but goes down pretty smooth and actually tastes more like a trippel.

Bottle from Wohlenbergs, Sønderborg. Pours hazy orange amber with a thin white film head. Aroma is very powerful - oranges, yeast. A little spritzy mouthfeel. Flavour is slightly tart, oranges, and a heavy warmth from the alcohol. Not the most sophisticated BSA ever.

After the fireworks on the Fourth, I cracked this one for a nightcap. It had a nice aroma and a mellow flavor. Yeasty with some sweetness. I liked it, but with all of the belgian-style beers out there, I am not sure I would get it again.
