Nice head that lasts a while; aroma is mostly of hops and lighter fruits like banana and peach just as the label suggests. Appearance is translucent, cloudy in the middle and thinner on the edges. Malty, somewhat earthy flavor with candy sugar, finishing in dry alcohol and hops. Not bad, but I liked it better in the Collaboration mix. clasley (153), Arkansas, USA
| 3.8 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 8/10 | 4/5 | 7/10 | 4/5 | 15/20 | Mar 31, 2007 650 ml bottle. Spicy peach nose with a golden amber presence. Big body with complex peach and spice tones. Slightly hoppier than expected. chimpscampee (556), Madison, Wisconsin, USA
| 4 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 8/10 | 4/5 | 8/10 | 4/5 | 16/20 | Mar 31, 2007 Complex, balanced, lively, crisp taste and aroma. Yes you can whiff peach and apricott. I catch the nutmeg but not the cinnamon noted. Mercifully, not as much acidic sourness and yeasty taste as some beligans. Frothy off white head. Earthy somewhat bitter finish. Hildes the 9% alcohol. | 3.6 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 4/5 | 7/10 | 3/5 | 15/20 | Mar 30, 2007 22oz bottle pours amber with a short offwhite head. Aromas of yeast, alcohol, a touch of spice and some apricot/peach. Flavor is many of those same notes. Lots of yeast, lots of peachy fruits and some slight spice with alcohol warmth at the finish. Fair carbonation with a fizzy mouthfeel and a somewhat dry finish. Pretty easy drinking though honestly. Not a bad brew.. zamco17 (134), Corpus Christi, Texas, USA
| 3.8 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 8/10 | 3/5 | 8/10 | 3/5 | 16/20 | Mar 29, 2007 pours a murky golden color. smell is unusually hoppy for this style of beer. medium carbonation taste is more tradioitonal belgian style. but the hops really accent this beer nicely. pretty tasty brew here. | 3.4 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 6/10 | 4/5 | 6/10 | 4/5 | 14/20 | Mar 23, 2007 tap at Toronado. It pours with a fairly light color. I had RR Salvation and the Collbaoration and I agree with people that say that the Avery component supplies the alcohol hotness. This brew is indeed quite hot, the alcohol is veryu prominent ovwerpowering some of the other flavors. One can still taste some notes of bubblegum and banana and a hint of malts and hops but it is almost burning with alcohol. boboski (1095), Alabama, USA
| 3.8 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 8/10 | 3/5 | 8/10 | 4/5 | 15/20 | Mar 22, 2007 Orange/light amber pour. Thin, light ringlets of lacing. White head is quickly diminishing, though not fully so. Aroma is of candy sugar, lightly toasted malts, flaked citrus rinds, yeast and slight tartness. Flavor is dusty and grainy, showcasing more lightly toasted malts and sugars throughout. Finishes semi-dry, with subtle lingering dark fruits and citrus oils. Palate is medium-light to medium-full, quite sticky. Draft and bottle samples, very tasty when fresh. Of this offering, the Russian River brew with the same name, and Collaboration Not Litigation, all tasted side-by-side, this one wins out as the most refreshing and my favorite of the three.
