Commercial Description:
The success of HOG HEAVEN and THE REVEREND clearly demonstrates that beer drinkers are willing to embrace "BIGGER" beers. In the fall of 2001, we decided that a lighter BIG BEER would complement its darker colored predecessors. Salvation has luscious apricot and peach aromas delicately interwoven with spicy suggestions of nutmeg and cinnamon. This heavenly soft, champagne-like elixir is cellarable for 3 years.

Bottle. Pours a golden colour with a small white head. Sweet fruity aroma with hints of spices. Fruity and spicy flavor, with hints of yeast. A little sweet and spicy finish.

Pours a clear light amberwith a white head. Smells yeasty. Sweet with yeasty and fruity aromas (apple). Full bodied. Very "Belgish".

22 oz bomber. Pours a hazy orange coppery color with a medium sized white head. Aroma is lemony, almost like hot tea with a lemon inside it. Flavor is like lemon iced tea. A slight cinnamon and nutmeg flavor is also found in this one. Not bad, but not great either.

Tap ashleys ann arbor: Whispy yellow with small head and decent lacing. Spicy peach, apricot and some cinamon, with a soft hop presence. Mouthfeel wasn’t terrible great, although nice. Spicy and malty flavor with a dry alch finish.

Bottle. Cloudy dark orange color with small soapy white head. Aroma is sweet with fruity hops. Taste is pretty powerful. I thought the alcohol bite was a bit strong, but as it warmed I liked it more and more. It has an excellent taste/mouthfeel of over-ripe fruit. Very juicy. There is also plenty of spice (coriander, pepper). The finish is alcohol and hops. Certainly lives up to it’s "big beer" designation.

Very spicy, peppery, and perfumy nose, I don’t typically care much for "perfume" in my beer, but this is a very nice combination; great complex, hoppy, and fruity flavor with ample maltiness and a tangy, peppery finish; oily finish. Probably the most artistic bottle ever, and an outstanding beer!

I let this one sit in a box for a while before I remembered it... maybe a year? Shiny clear amber/gold/orange color. Thin white soapy ring. Malty aroma. Kind of odd... very sweet banana. Taste is slightly stale, mostly sweet banana. Slight hop notes, but very sweet fruity malt. Kind of pleasant, but not with too much.

Has a decent, musty fruity aroma to it. Nice cloudy orange color, with a golden head. Flavor is somewhat bitter, slightly fruity. Decent body, with good carbonation. Overall, this is a pretty good one.
