Commercial Description:
The success of HOG HEAVEN and THE REVEREND clearly demonstrates that beer drinkers are willing to embrace "BIGGER" beers. In the fall of 2001, we decided that a lighter BIG BEER would complement its darker colored predecessors. Salvation has luscious apricot and peach aromas delicately interwoven with spicy suggestions of nutmeg and cinnamon. This heavenly soft, champagne-like elixir is cellarable for 3 years.

Another tasting at the Salida brewers gathering. All beers are out of small kegs. Hold the glass up to the light, hang out in the park with your friends, and enjoy brews as they should be taken. This is a lovely creation, light, with high alcohol nicely hidden. It had a big head. Was the last reviewer unfortunate enough to have had it from a bottle?? Even my wife said it tasted GOOD!!

Beautiful orange color but zero head is a big disappointment. Taste is somewhat sour & soapy. A tad bitter too as it warms up. Quite strong. Decent but there’s better out there. Most likely I’ll never drink this again. Just found it sort of boring.

Bottle. Pours a golden color, frothy white head, transparent with lots of rising tiny bubbles, not much lacing. Aroma is fairly tame, yeasty, spicy, fruity, I definitely smell peaches, nutmeg, and some other phenolics. Flavor is dominated by a light fruitiness, apricots and peaches definetly dominate, a hint of a belgian yeast, a touch of spiciness as it finishes. Fairly light body, appropriate for a golden ale like this, some bubbly carbonation, soft in the mouth. All in all, a fine beer, I really enjoyed how the fruity flavors played off of the yeast while remaining delicate in the mouth.

Big bottle. Pale colored ale, thin head, fruity aroma. On tasting the "bubblegum" was most prominent. Read about this before, now it is good to have had the experience.

Bottled: Golden coloured. Clear. Off white dense medium sized head. Sweet, fruity, light alchol and fruit in the aroma. Flavour is smooth. Sweetness, fruit, hops and a light citric touch. Is nicely sweet and hoppy in the end. Medium bodied and quite a treat.

A hazy orange beer with a small white head. The aroma is very sweet with primary notes of peach and hops, but also hint so the alcohol, that gives it a small stint of metal. The flavor is quite powerful - the alchol makes it mark with a good body on which is a nice fruityness with peach and an overripe flavor dominates. The flavor also contains hints of coriander, and in the end the hops makes it self known, though only subtlely, but enough to give it a slight bitterness. A nice American brewed Belgian Strong Ale.
