Commercial Description:
The success of HOG HEAVEN and THE REVEREND clearly demonstrates that beer drinkers are willing to embrace "BIGGER" beers. In the fall of 2001, we decided that a lighter BIG BEER would complement its darker colored predecessors. Salvation has luscious apricot and peach aromas delicately interwoven with spicy suggestions of nutmeg and cinnamon. This heavenly soft, champagne-like elixir is cellarable for 3 years.

A hazy orange beer with a small white head. The aroma is very sweet with primary notes of peach and hops, but also hint so the alcohol, that gives it a small stint of metal. The flavor is quite powerful - the alchol makes it mark with a good body on which is a nice fruityness with peach and an overripe flavor dominates. The flavor also contains hints of coriander, and in the end the hops makes it self known, though only subtlely, but enough to give it a slight bitterness. A nice American brewed Belgian Strong Ale.

(Bottle 65 cl) Beautiful, clear amber with a handsome, creamy head. Fruity, lightly sweet aroma. Flavour is dominated by sweetish, caramelish notes with an almost floral touch. Discreet bitterness. 181105

Bottled. Orange coloured and lightly hazy. Aroma of almond and honey. Salty, malty, soft, complex and woody. More bitter than most belgian style ales.

22 fl oz bomber. Pours hazy orange with a lacing off-white head. Spiced aroma, slight herbal and carboard-like. My wife immidiately said: wet socks :(. Flavour is clearly with notes of Belgian yeast but also undefineable spiced. Sweet and slight woody with a lingering fruity and liqourice and slight peppery note into the finish. Ends with a fruity hoppy note. Strange and without balance. I would once again prefer a Belgian style from Belgium and an American style from America.

Bottle @ Københavnske Øldage 2007 in Copenhagen. Unclear light amber orange color with a small fizzy fair lacing mostly diminishing off-white head. Aroma is moderate malty, hoppy and yeasty, sweetness, peach, apricot. Flavor is moderate to heavy sweet and light bitter with a average duration. Body is medium to full, texture is oily, carbonation is flat, finish feel is light alcoholic.

Bottle at KØ07. Weak, but good, sweetish hop aroma. Clear golden colour, small white head. Very malty flavour, in perfect balance with pepper and alcohol notes. Caramelly flavour also going well with the alcohol. This is really good.
