Jun 8, 2005 A hazy orange beer with a small white head. The aroma is very sweet with primary notes of peach and hops, but also hint so the alcohol, that gives it a small stint of metal. The flavor is quite powerful - the alchol makes it mark with a good body on which is a nice fruityness with peach and an overripe flavor dominates. The flavor also contains hints of coriander, and in the end the hops makes it self known, though only subtlely, but enough to give it a slight bitterness. A nice American brewed Belgian Strong Ale.

Jun 19, 2003 Bottled. Orange coloured and lightly hazy. Aroma of almond and honey. Salty, malty, soft, complex and woody. More bitter than most belgian style ales.

Feb 20, 2008 22 fl oz bomber. Pours hazy orange with a lacing off-white head. Spiced aroma, slight herbal and carboard-like. My wife immidiately said: wet socks :(. Flavour is clearly with notes of Belgian yeast but also undefineable spiced. Sweet and slight woody with a lingering fruity and liqourice and slight peppery note into the finish. Ends with a fruity hoppy note. Strange and without balance. I would once again prefer a Belgian style from Belgium and an American style from America.

May 18, 2007 Bottle @ Københavnske Øldage 2007 in Copenhagen. Unclear light amber orange color with a small fizzy fair lacing mostly diminishing off-white head. Aroma is moderate malty, hoppy and yeasty, sweetness, peach, apricot. Flavor is moderate to heavy sweet and light bitter with a average duration. Body is medium to full, texture is oily, carbonation is flat, finish feel is light alcoholic.

Jul 3, 2007 Bottle at KØ07. Weak, but good, sweetish hop aroma. Clear golden colour, small white head. Very malty flavour, in perfect balance with pepper and alcohol notes. Caramelly flavour also going well with the alcohol. This is really good.
