Sep 6, 2007 Pours a cloudy golden color with a thin white head. Aroma of honey, yeast and alcohol. The flavor has alcohol with honey and yeast. The body is light with a creamy texture and soft carbonation.

Nov 19, 2006 Bottled, UDRBG. Aroma of hops, oranges and mandarines. Hazy, yellow coloured with a medium, off-white head. Taste is way too sweet, makin it nothing close to a belgian style beer. Even Leffe is not this sweet. Oranges, honey and hops. It is tea with too much honey. Very disappointing.

Mar 18, 2008 Pours with a fizzy, white head that has good lacing. Sweet, slightly floral hopped aroma with sugar and some cinnamon. Taste is way too forward with the alcohol. Some sweetness afterwards. Slightly fizzy carbonation mixed with a creamy mouthfeel.

yeasty and slightly fruity aroma. something that might resemble stable or leather, but is a bit sweeter. lots of aroma.
flavor is sweet, malty, sawdust, grassy, faint fruitiy sugary flavor, bitterness that is hoppy and sawdusty.
this one best before 1-9-2009 acc. to distributor, so it’s rather well cellared. if only avery had printed the production date i’d be wiser as to how old it is.
in three words. bitter, grass, sweet...

Nov 5, 2002 Dark golden color with a medium thick milky-white head. Nice effervescence. Alternating fruity and hoppy aroma. Nice tart flavor of herbs and spices and hops. Surprisingly easy to drink as well. $6 a bottle around here but this was actually worth it.

Nov 13, 2005 Very malty aroma with a bit of fruit, Golden amber, pours a small custard head. Malt and some citrus flavour. Full bodied, alcohol is quite noticeable. Good, though a note to the brewer and or brewery, bigger isn’t always better.

Aug 7, 2004 Pours a lighter orange color with a nice white head. Sweet aroma with some good spice to it, slightly yeasty with a very noticable hop presence lingering around. Taste was citrusy, clove, and some other spices, and smooth with a sweet start and a balanced bitter end.

Oct 16, 2002 Updated: Mar 26, 2003Rerate, sober this time: Apricot-colored w/a white & foamy head. Fresh yeasty nose. Sharp and strong mouthfeel. Interesting and subtle burnt flavor in the malt. Large hop bitterness in the finish; dryish too. Seems to improve in flavor and become richer with every sip.
