Jan 2, 2007 Warm amber with a small head. The aroma has notes of hops, spice (coriander and more) and fruit. The flavour is fruity with notes of peach, a bit of apple, coriander, candy sugar, caramel and the finish has a nice bitterness, more than the Belgian ones, but just right for me. A nice one - seems to be words at the end of all my Avery ratings :)

May 21, 2007 Big bottle. Hazy light amberish colour. Sweet aroma of fruits, toasted malt and spices. The flavour is sweet with good toasty caramel and maltiness, fruity and spiced, alcoholic and hoppy. Bitter-sweet finish.

Nov 29, 2005 Bottle. Orange colour with a big off-white head. Sweet fruity, metallic, hoppy aroma and taste. Medium to full body with a sweet metallic finish. To much metal in this one.

Jul 13, 2007 Updated: Jul 19, 2007Bottle from Wohlenbergs, Sønderborg. Pours hazy orange amber with a thin white film head. Aroma is very powerful - oranges, yeast. A little spritzy mouthfeel. Flavour is slightly tart, oranges, and a heavy warmth from the alcohol. Not the most sophisticated BSA ever.

Mar 14, 2004 (Bottle) Pours a cloudy orange color with no head. Looks more like apple juice than a beer. Has a fruity aroma. Flavor of hops, sugar, and yeast with a light palate.

Sep 3, 2004 Poured a medium orange color with an avearaged sized white head. Aromas of yeast, apples, and some spices. Spicey apple tastes. Sweet start with a light bitter finish. Very light alcohol in the taste. Not bad I liked this beer.

Sep 23, 2005 on tap-pours a thin white head. Color is a cloudy gold. Taste is clove and spicing. A bit sweet, thick.

Aug 23, 2004 Dull totally clear golden. Honest white film. Another typical Avery yeasty/hoppy belgian aroma. Hops are grapefruity, orangey and floral and somehow hides some of the malt development into a fruitiness approaching pears. Again the avery alcohol heating limits the apparent complexity. Palate is flowery, orangey.. not much else. Alright hoppy belgian ale I guess with a gentle bitter and heating (contained though) finish. Rather light bodied and sadly very low carbonation for a belgian ale. Laughable commercial description.
