Commercial Description:
The success of HOG HEAVEN and THE REVEREND clearly demonstrates that beer drinkers are willing to embrace "BIGGER" beers. In the fall of 2001, we decided that a lighter BIG BEER would complement its darker colored predecessors. Salvation has luscious apricot and peach aromas delicately interwoven with spicy suggestions of nutmeg and cinnamon. This heavenly soft, champagne-like elixir is cellarable for 3 years.

Bomber mours a golden orange with a nice white yeasty head. The aromas come out as lots of distinctly trappist yeast with a little orange zest and spices. It has a medium body in the mouth and tastes sweet but not overly sweet. Candi sugars, carmel flavors, finishing with spices maybe clove and corriander and definite high amount of alcohol you could taste and feel.

Aroma of ripe fruit, raisins, plums, apricot, with some spice in the backdrop. Flavour is malty, and fruity. The alcohol is present, and it welcome, a nice warming down my throat, a nice solid belgian strong.

22 oz bomber. Pours a hazy orange coppery color with a medium sized white head. Aroma is lemony, almost like hot tea with a lemon inside it. Flavor is like lemon iced tea. A slight cinnamon and nutmeg flavor is also found in this one. Not bad, but not great either.

Bottle, from Julio’s. Good nose, spicy fruity. Clove, honey, banana, little wheaty. Tad hazy golden orange color. Small head that faded quickly. Sweet bitter flavors, clove, peach/apricot, banana, little tinny. Thicker bodied, lite creamy mouthfeel, Bitter dry finish. Nice beer, not my first choise in styles, easy going down. ABV hidden well.

A Golden haze settles above the light morning dew. . . The aroma of fresh flowers lifts my senses until I am resting on a feathery cloud . . . Subtle spices, yeast, and bread are all present. . . this cloud is soft and delightful. . . gathering my senses I float back to Earth, where several hop vines await me. Another tripel dream, how wonderful.

22oz bottle. Aroma has lots of sweet honey malt and dry, spicy yeast. Pours full, bright gold with a fizzy white head. Lots os surag and honey sweetness initially on the tongue. Dry and slightly spicy yeast. Some grassy hops and a hint of chocolate. Medium bodied. Slightly sticky. More sweet than dry. Finishes with a lingering yeasty dryness.

Cloudy orange red color, fig alcohol aroma, sweet almost brany like taste, heavy but not complex, that light brandy taste stays right to the end
