| 3.6 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 8/10 | 3/5 | 7/10 | 4/5 | 14/20 | May 24, 2004 Pours a lightly hazy golden with a thin white head. Sweet caramely bready Belgian yeast aroma has a touch of light fruity coriander spice. Starts semi-sweet and thick turning more dry and spiced toward the finish with some apple juice character. Reminiscent of a double wit, with more of a citrus yeasty profile. A decent Belgian strong, but could use some more balance between the spice and malt. jcwattsrugger (5333), Florida and, New Jersey, USA

| 3.6 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 6/10 | 4/5 | 8/10 | 4/5 | 14/20 | Dec 12, 2005 Clear gold beer, good white head, heavy pearling. Light sugar, just a hint of coriander, a tad of cookies, rather sweet-oriented, but all very restrained. Apricot, dried mango, sweet, but alcoholic-brandy like; pineapple retronasal, very yeasty even when the beer is 100% clear. Alcoholic, alcoholburn and lighter in body because of the ABV. This is some Tripel. I’m told it’s drier on draught, less sweet, but still I’m impressed. Great - exept for the nose. The label is art in itself. Hildigöltur (5109), København, Denmark

| 3.8 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 8/10 | 4/5 | 7/10 | 4/5 | 15/20 | Nov 2, 2006 Pale golden beer. Light Belgiany phenolics in the nose with some clove and peach. Flavour is very oaky with yeasty spice over light peach/apricot esters. Honeyish maltiness. Vanilla and oakiness with some soft resinousness in back. Well balanced and tasty.
