May 24, 2004 Pours a lightly hazy golden with a thin white head. Sweet caramely bready Belgian yeast aroma has a touch of light fruity coriander spice. Starts semi-sweet and thick turning more dry and spiced toward the finish with some apple juice character. Reminiscent of a double wit, with more of a citrus yeasty profile. A decent Belgian strong, but could use some more balance between the spice and malt.

Jan 5, 2006 Orange beer with a white head. Malty and yeasty aroma with notes of apricot and peach, strong alcohol precense. Sweet and hoppy bitter flavor, light fruity and a with an alcohol finish.

Dec 12, 2005 Clear gold beer, good white head, heavy pearling. Light sugar, just a hint of coriander, a tad of cookies, rather sweet-oriented, but all very restrained. Apricot, dried mango, sweet, but alcoholic-brandy like; pineapple retronasal, very yeasty even when the beer is 100% clear. Alcoholic, alcoholburn and lighter in body because of the ABV. This is some Tripel. I’m told it’s drier on draught, less sweet, but still I’m impressed. Great - exept for the nose. The label is art in itself.

Nov 2, 2006 Pale golden beer. Light Belgiany phenolics in the nose with some clove and peach. Flavour is very oaky with yeasty spice over light peach/apricot esters. Honeyish maltiness. Vanilla and oakiness with some soft resinousness in back. Well balanced and tasty.
