Commercial Description:
The success of HOG HEAVEN and THE REVEREND clearly demonstrates that beer drinkers are willing to embrace "BIGGER" beers. In the fall of 2001, we decided that a lighter BIG BEER would complement its darker colored predecessors. Salvation has luscious apricot and peach aromas delicately interwoven with spicy suggestions of nutmeg and cinnamon. This heavenly soft, champagne-like elixir is cellarable for 3 years.

This fantastic beer was acquired in trade with Andrew196. This Avery Salvation is really great stuff. If I had not gotten into a quarrel with my girlfriend right after I opened the 22oz bottle it would have been even better.
** The appearance was a glowing coppery orange color, with a small fizzy white head, and a nice light lacing. The aroma is awesome, reminds me of canned mandarin oranges, guava, mango, and pineapple, very tropical, a tropical salvation. Not surprisingly, the flavor is citric, sweet, slightly dry finish, a great overall balance. I would really love to acquire another bottle of this beer, first-rate stuff!

22 oz. bottle. Hazy gold with a restrained white head that settles quickly. Some yeast, light fruit, and spice in the aroma with a little toffee thrown in. Bright effervescence accompanies a medium body and astringent mouthfeel. Mild sweetness quickly fades, giving way to an light acidic sourness that ocntributes to a clean finish with the help of some gentle bitterness.

It’s like a tripel crossed with an APA! I’m a fan. Hoppy nose. Golden orange colour. Belgian yeasty/hoppy flavour.

Nice clear gold with bright white big head. Nose of fruit and spice. Flavor has a little banana, clove and sweetness from the malt. Alcohol is well hidden with the explosive flavors. Finish leaves a nice sweet coating on the palate.

Definitely one of the better beers from Avery. I really enjoy the yeastiness that blends in so well with the lighter fruits flavors, this has a wonderful mouthfeel, with just enough carbonation. Almost has a marmalade, jamminess with a bit of spritz in the finish, well balanced, and delicious.

Crushed with Jakebra. Aight, golden ale? This in’t a golden. Almost barley wine tendencies. Very very sweet nose and the alcohol is apparent from the beginning. Very interesting brew, with some good and bad tendencies.

Salvation has a nice fruity aroma. A mixture of spice compelements the aroma. The color is a nice golden with a thick light golden head. There is some lacing but, not miuch. The taste on the palate is a subtle fruitiness and finishes clean on the palate, with some cloying.
