Commercial Description:
The success of HOG HEAVEN and THE REVEREND clearly demonstrates that beer drinkers are willing to embrace "BIGGER" beers. In the fall of 2001, we decided that a lighter BIG BEER would complement its darker colored predecessors. Salvation has luscious apricot and peach aromas delicately interwoven with spicy suggestions of nutmeg and cinnamon. This heavenly soft, champagne-like elixir is cellarable for 3 years.

Pours a clear and bright copper orange, topped by a good inch of off white foam. Decent head retention, good lacing. Strong dry malt aroma with some orange and a hint of tea. Quite sweet flavor, again with some orange and stronger tea. Candi sugar and coriander and just a hint of bubblegum into the finish. Alcohol, coriander, clove, green hops, and bitter orange in the aftertaste. Medium to full body, softly carbonated, quite smooth sipper.

Very clear golden color with a quickly disappating head, however, the lace on this is impressive. Aroma: Fruity, Doughy, Vanilla. Flavor: spice, vanilla, however, a bit cloying. So so beer...I expected better given the high ratings. I do have to say that this does get better as it warms and if you can get through cloying taste.

Poured a peachy, orange color with a thin whispy white head. More hop fragrance than I imagined, slightly piney but also contains grainy, yeasty and a sweet, candy aroma like bubblegum. Initial flavor is sweet and candy like, but the finish brings a strange flavor of medicine. I was disappointed in the flavor and the finish.

Pours golden yellow with off white head. Fruity aroma as well as yeast. Flavor is slightly sweet with alcohol definately present. Medium body with average cabonation. Finishes dry and leaves an aftertaste almost like a lager. Probably won’t have this again.

Beautiful cloudy, glowing, orange color with a medium-sized off-white head. The aroma was full of spicy, floral, apricot, peach, and yeasty tones. The flavor was quite sweet up front with a big apricot and yeasty character and some hops bitterness in the aftertaste. The feel was soft and thick, with a tingling on the tongue...semi-wet finish.

Slightly hazy golden amber. Thin, sticky and compact off white head. Slow but steady carbonation. Healthy Belgian aroma, pale malts, Belgian yeast, candied sugar and soft spicy hops. Lightly crisp yet immediately spicy with lemony, bitter hops and spicy alcohol esters. Yeasty and sugary aftertaste. Medium full body. Nice balance between the mellow and spicy aspects. Hopped up with a solid dose of bitterness and floral notes. Delicately sweet. Quite drinkable, especially ice cold. Hoppy aroma and flavor maintain themselves throughout. Clean and non-sticky. Finishes thinner but still hoppy and sweet. Remarkably impotent.
