Flavor is spicy and yeasty; with contrasting malt sweetness. It’s a bit thin on the tongue, not at all sticky or heavy, with just enough carbonation. The 9% is lost somewhere in all of this; its only appearance is in its effect. Delightful. SpudClampDawg (1027), Jasper, Indiana, USA

Funky, spicy Belgian yeast aroma is quite fitting, but overpowers the sweet fruitiness that is present as well. The body is rich and thick, heavily malted from beginning to end. Baked apples, cinnamon, sweet pears are all there. There is a bit of an overload of hop bitterness in the finish, which seems a bit out of whack for the smooth style. Otherwise, pretty solid stuff that I would like to throw in the cellar for a few years. Miguel (1181), Saint-Ours, Quebec, Canada

The color resembles pumpkin cream and the head is nice sized. The entire mouth is seized by the bitter tangy wheat and grapefruit mixture as it flows over the tongue. The palate is reminded of the taste it just had for good portion of time. brigg (216), Charlottesville, Virginia, USA

A musty yeast aroma bright with sweet fruit (peach) and spice (nutmeg). Strong, multi-faceted flavor is very sweet with fruit upfront but it dries out with hops and alcohol on the way back; yeast and spice (pepper, coriander) are strong throughout. Full bodied and carbonation gives a soft mouthfeel. It’s definitely"big", but I like it. kevin62 (267), New Jersey, USA

Poured hazy orange with small white head. No discernable carbonation. Fruity honey aroma. Medium-to-full bodied ale that starts with light malt sweetness and fruity/spicy flavors. Finished with light malt fade and some bitterness. Alcohol dangerously well hidden in this more-ish beer. Smooth and flavorful, this is an excellent ale. Numenor (869), Richmond, Virginia, USA

Aroma is very tea like, light malts show through in the ending. Nice orange-brown colored body with a light white head. Taste is outstanding, great spices and lovely honey, light fruits as well. Hops and malt are present but they don’t define the taste characteristics. Excellent ending, tea characteristics show up again with some light hop endings.
