Good sweet beer to introduce to a girl friend...use like champagne. csbosox (1081), Prairie Village, Kansas, USA
| 3.9 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 8/10 | 4/5 | 7/10 | 4/5 | 16/20 | May 15, 2005 22oz bottle, served at 51.5° in my NB worthy glass. Pours light gold with a small, off white head. The aroma is excellent, comprised of orange, apricot, and perfume with a touch of spice. The taste is sweet malt with a pear, apricot, and orange juice taste that dries off into a more orange peel taste when the hops and alcohol come through. There is a slight sense of the alcohol at the end, but it is not sensed at all before the slight burn in the throat, the beer doesn’t taste alcoholic. thornecb (1773), Marblehead, Massachusetts, USA

Crisp, yet full with tingly sweet alcohol from front to back. Slight lasting pepper finish. robinvboyer (1429), Sturgeon Falls, Ontario, Canada

By all looks deceiveing, this orange hued beast slides down the throat, like a drunkard on a steep slope. Not quite Belgian, but not to be missed. cyanescens (156), Seattle, Washington, USA

The alcohol and hoppiness makes this belgian ale a little different. Much smoother, not as carbonated makes it more drinkable for me. I like it.
