Commercial Description:
The success of HOG HEAVEN and THE REVEREND clearly demonstrates that beer drinkers are willing to embrace "BIGGER" beers. In the fall of 2001, we decided that a lighter BIG BEER would complement its darker colored predecessors. Salvation has luscious apricot and peach aromas delicately interwoven with spicy suggestions of nutmeg and cinnamon. This heavenly soft, champagne-like elixir is cellarable for 3 years.

Bottled. Orange coloured and lightly hazy. Aroma of almond and honey. Salty, malty, soft, complex and woody. More bitter than most belgian style ales.

Bottle. Amber beer with a big white head. Aroma of yeast and some sweet malt. Big yeasty flavor with banana, clove, and some fruitiness. Easy drinking. Finishes dry.

A very nice beer from a great brewery. A great example of a "lighter" but still BIG belgian. At 9% ABV this one can warm you up in a hurry.

Drunk, from the largest of Lucifer glasses, this golden monster unleashes it’s true character. By all looks deceiveing, this orange hued beast slides down the throat, like a drunkard on a steep slope. Not quite Belgian, but not to be missed.

A strong beer. Very subtle fruity notes but nothing too big which I like. The alcohol and hoppiness makes this belgian ale a little different. Much smoother, not as carbonated makes it more drinkable for me. I like it.

Orangy opaque in colour with light lacing head. You can smell the apricot and peach and a bit of the alcohol. The taste is very fruity and has a lot of bite. It’s like a typical strong ale but fruity. It’s a very unexpected twist on a traditional style. This is a very consistent and complex beer. Kudos!
