Commercial Description:
The success of HOG HEAVEN and THE REVEREND clearly demonstrates that beer drinkers are willing to embrace "BIGGER" beers. In the fall of 2001, we decided that a lighter BIG BEER would complement its darker colored predecessors. Salvation has luscious apricot and peach aromas delicately interwoven with spicy suggestions of nutmeg and cinnamon. This heavenly soft, champagne-like elixir is cellarable for 3 years.

22 oz bottle-pours a bright orange hue with a nice big-bubble slightly off-white head. big sweet, candy sugar aroma-big banana. The flavors are like that of a belgian tripple-lots of sweetness, banana, yeast esters. very complex, but not all that well balanced. I got a peppery note in the finish. This beer is just too sweet for me to drink again. After i poured the yeast into the chimay glass, there was a bigger banana aroma going on. Avery did a good job here, just tone down the sugary sweetness and this is a find BSA.

This fantastic beer was acquired in trade with Andrew196. This Avery Salvation is really great stuff. If I had not gotten into a quarrel with my girlfriend right after I opened the 22oz bottle it would have been even better.
** The appearance was a glowing coppery orange color, with a small fizzy white head, and a nice light lacing. The aroma is awesome, reminds me of canned mandarin oranges, guava, mango, and pineapple, very tropical, a tropical salvation. Not surprisingly, the flavor is citric, sweet, slightly dry finish, a great overall balance. I would really love to acquire another bottle of this beer, first-rate stuff!

This is a beautiful golden slightly hazy ale with a white creamy head. Head dies down quickly but leaves a nice layer of foam with subtle retention. Aroma is really hoppy that was unexpected by me. Very fruity with hints of cinnamon and peaches in sugar. Very smooth on the palate and slightly syrupy. Flavor is really nice but a tad sweet. I like the sweet though, and the fruitiness seems to be hanging on to a nice malty bottom. This was one of those surprises that you find in beers sometimes. Not what I expected but quite a pleasure none the less.

Rich golden orange body with a fading white head. Essence of flowers, fruit, honey. Complex blend of fruit and spice in the taste. Good stuff.

Tap @ TJ’s Paoli, PA. Amber with beige head that fell fairly quickly, minimum lace. Aroma was slight due to cold temp but as it warmed there was a very nice fresh, clean, malty, spicy flavor. Ample sweetness but it fit very well with the beer overall. Pleasant fruits, sweet spice ( I was getting a hint of pumpkin pie), and hop notes woven into the mix. Alcohol very well integrated. Well into medium bodied. I liked this brew and will seek not only it but all of Avery’s offerings.

Pale golden beer. Light Belgiany phenolics in the nose with some clove and peach. Flavour is very oaky with yeasty spice over light peach/apricot esters. Honeyish maltiness. Vanilla and oakiness with some soft resinousness in back. Well balanced and tasty.

Pours clear, yellow, with a light, frothy head. Strong hoppy, spicy aroma. Solid mouth feel with a major spice and hop profile. Somewhat of apricot and spice finish.

Poured a medium orange color with an avearaged sized white head. Aromas of yeast, apples, and some spices. Spicey apple tastes. Sweet start with a light bitter finish. Very light alcohol in the taste. Not bad I liked this beer.
