| 3.6 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 3/5 | 7/10 | 4/5 | 15/20 | Aug 12, 2007 Bottle. Average bubbly beige head that mostly diminished. Somewhat clear amber color. Fair display of lacework. Aroma was a lovely mix of malty sweetness and light hoppy feel. Notes of caramel, fruit / peach, light floral notes, maybe hint of underlying liquorish. Medium to full bodied with an average carbonation and light dry and at the same time light thick texture. Well balanced between the moderated sweet malty base flavor and the floral hoppyness. Light dry and what I thought was lingering fruity sweet finish. Really well brewed I thought. Derek881 (495), Frederick, Maryland, USA
| 3.6 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 4/5 | 8/10 | 3/5 | 14/20 | Jun 11, 2007 Poured from large bottle into a trappist glass. Aroma was good and diverse, with a yeasty nose. There were citrus and pine hops, caramel malt, and some sugary and candy notes; maybe some wheat notes too. The beer was a mostly cloudy, orange-amber color with a good shie. The head was bubbly and creamy, but had short retention. Taste was sweet and candy-like, with a subtle sour undertone, and a slightly bitter alcohol finish with a warming effect. It was wet and thin on the palate, a bit soft and oily, and had very mild carbonation. A bit dry at the end and some slight fizzyness. Solid beer overall, not bad for the reasonable price. Pour was a near perfect dark orange with a huge four finger white head. Taste was not too sweet whcih, in my opinion, it usually is. Heavy on the spices and fruit with a nice dry finish and heavy carbonation. Mouthfeel was not too thick and balanced the beer out. Very nice. josuemucho (86), Orlando, Florida, USA

Aroma is citrusy orange hops with a little malty sweetness. Not your typical belgian maltiness, but very nice and balanced by a lot of spicy citrus hops. Solid version of a belgian strong. rmussman (905), California, USA

Nice head that lasts a while; aroma is mostly of hops and lighter fruits like banana and peach just as the label suggests. Appearance is translucent, cloudy in the middle and thinner on the edges. Malty, somewhat earthy flavor with candy sugar, finishing in dry alcohol and hops. Not bad, but I liked it better in the Collaboration mix.
