Commercial Description:
The success of HOG HEAVEN and THE REVEREND clearly demonstrates that beer drinkers are willing to embrace "BIGGER" beers. In the fall of 2001, we decided that a lighter BIG BEER would complement its darker colored predecessors. Salvation has luscious apricot and peach aromas delicately interwoven with spicy suggestions of nutmeg and cinnamon. This heavenly soft, champagne-like elixir is cellarable for 3 years.

Good belgian. Pours a bit mirky yellow with tiny streaming bubbles. Aroma is sweet and yeasty, but balanced. Flavor was sweet and sour,a bit of tea, and kicked with alcohol.

22 oz. bottle. Clear gold pour with medium-sized light-tan head that leaves rows of lacing. Bananas, lemons and yeast are present in the nose. Cinnamon and nutmeg become more apparent as I finish the bottle. Crisp yet smooth. Medium-bodied. Not nearly as complex as other belgians I’ve had. Pretty sweet but with a nice bitter and spicy finish. Just a touch of pepper. The high ABV is pretty well-hidden. Not the best Avery has to offer.

Bottled. Dark golden colour, small white head. Fruity caramellish and hoppy aroma. Sweet caramellish fruity hoppy flavour. Fruit in aftertaste. Very pleasant and welldone beer.

22oz bottle pours amber with a short offwhite head. Aromas of yeast, alcohol, a touch of spice and some apricot/peach. Flavor is many of those same notes. Lots of yeast, lots of peachy fruits and some slight spice with alcohol warmth at the finish. Fair carbonation with a fizzy mouthfeel and a somewhat dry finish. Pretty easy drinking though honestly. Not a bad brew..

poured a cloudy, hazy dark amber. Aroma is faint fruit, with strong alcohol overtones. Flavor is a complex blend of fruit and spices. Fun on the palate. Good beer

65 cl bottle. No yeast at the bottom. Orange colour with a small head. Aroma of yeast, coriander, orange peel and sweetness. Very tasty flavour of yeast and a lot of coriander, also hints of maltness and sugar. Ends up with a warm feeling from the alcohol.
