Commercial Description:
The success of HOG HEAVEN and THE REVEREND clearly demonstrates that beer drinkers are willing to embrace "BIGGER" beers. In the fall of 2001, we decided that a lighter BIG BEER would complement its darker colored predecessors. Salvation has luscious apricot and peach aromas delicately interwoven with spicy suggestions of nutmeg and cinnamon. This heavenly soft, champagne-like elixir is cellarable for 3 years.

Big bottle poured golden honey color with sustained white head. Sudsy and almost oily. Syrupy aroma of bananas and cardamom. Complexities that I can’t place. The flavor is sweet and spicy with mild bitters. The mouthfeel is soft carbonation with medium body. Very good. When I get my hands on another one I’ll age it a while.

pours a deep gold with minuim head.aroma of sweet malts, bubblegum, cloves and a very pleasnet floarl hop note, taste his creamy yet prickly strong malt backbone with various phenloic notes and a nice floaral hop note in the backround(just like the aroma)hides the alcohol well.little too no lacing and a light too medium body.overall pretty good not as complex as I would like a belgian style too be but still good.

650 ml. Orange-gold with a five finger head that leaves some beautiful frost on the glass. Peach-citrus and honey aroma. Flavor is similar, but more balanced on the front (less sweet) than most Belgians, then seems to have a surge of some bubblegum and fruit in the middle. A nice flourish of bittering hops at the end that blend well with the hidden alcohol and light fruit. Nearly medium body is smooth, finishes dry and pleasantly chest warming. A typically malty, Belgian-yeasty style beer, but it seems to have a tad more hops than most in the style and I like it.

Bottle. 25.4 oz. Pours hazy, pinkish-brown with a half-finger creamy beige head. Aroma of apple cider, vanilla, honey, cinnamon, scotch, and figs. Very suave, smooth mouthfeel with a complex body; starts easy with a very firm, bold finish. Excellent American brewed Belgian strong.

The beer pours hazy orange amber with a thin white head that isn’t very lasting. The nose is a mix a stone fruit with an underpinning of hops and metal. The flavor is a very powerful mix of fruit coriander, hops and alcohol. The finish is a sweet mix of stone fruit and Belgium yeast.
