Commercial Description:
The Beast is a seducer - accomodating, complicated, powerful, dark and created to last the ages. Beyond this, it’s futile to attempt to describe Him. He will unveil Himself differently to each of His followers. The mark is in His constitution. Brewed with two-row malted barley, honey malt, and imported Belgian specialty grains (aromatic, pale wheat, roasted wheat, and Special B), hops (Magnum, Galena, Saaz, Hallertau, Tettnang, and Hersbrucker), brewing sugars (raisins, dates, blackstrap molasses, alfalfa honey, turbinado, and dark Belgian candy sugar), water, Belgian yeast and another hellion of a yeast strain.OG: 1.138

12 oz bottle-2005 vintage-poured a copper color w/no head but some moderate lacing. Aroma just explodes out of the glass, deep & hard to describe. Definite Belgian influences, sweet, fresh, floral, malt, molasis, roasted nuts, brown sugar, citrus, syrup flavor. Long, long, long sweet finish with a strong alcohol kick. This is a big beer, maybe a little too young & sweet-will probably be even better with age

2004 vintage courtesy of and shared with gputty. This thing is HUGE! Coppery pour, beige head. Big caramel and fruit nose - dates, figs, big maltiness, brown sugar. The flavors are huge extensions of the nose, plus a big alcohol wallop. Hot, boozy finish. This thing will kill ya, but you’ll die with a smile...

2004 18.1% Bottle. 2 years old. I could smell this baby as soon as the cap came off. Aroma is very rich with sweet malts. Couple sips of this stuff and the heat begins to hit you. The heat is very prominant but overall the beast is pretty smooth. A nice job with the alcohol but it still a little tough to drink a 22. Needs a 10oz bottle.

Bottle from Batch 3. Pours dark copper with an orange hue and a half inch lasting foamy head. Aroma is alcohol, dark fruit (especially raisins), caramel, and some soy sauce. Flavor is sweet caramel and raisin with a burning finish. My first foray into the Demon series.

12 oz bottle. Wow, what a beer. This thing was huge. Very think brown pour with smallish head. Aromas were wonderful of molassas, date, raisin, brown sugar. The flavor was very intense. A lot of dark fruit, and more molassas. Alcohol was big too. Mouthfeel was huge. Very thick and syrupy. Carbonataion was probally there, but the alcohol warming seemed to negete it. I think maybe in a few years this would settle down and be a very decent beer. For ow, it was too much.

12oz bottle mine says 14.9% abv via trade with cbkschubert - Thanks Craig! So I’ll presume 2005 - Pours copper with very little head at all. Aroma of raisins, caramel, candi sugar, and lots and lots of alcohol. Flavor is big raisin, candi sugar, some caramel, prunes, yeast, some toffee notes and again some alcohol. Palate is thick sticky sweet and chewy.. A big alcohol burn there on your lips as you sip this. No doubt about it this one is a beat. Big and bad just like the bottle suggests.. I think I’ll get another bottle to stick in the cellar for a couple of months and see what happens..
