Commercial Description:
A truly authentic Belgian style wheat or "white" ale, this Rascal is unfiltered (yup, that's yeast on the bottom) and cleverly spiced with coriander and Curacao orange peel producing a refreshingly fruity thirst quencher.

Hazey yellow pour with frothy white head that diminishes immediately. Aroma of spice, bubble gum and citrus. Flavor is yeast, bread and oranges. Slight hops. Carbonation is average and lends to the underwhelming mouthfeel. All in all, just ok

Bottle 12fl.oz. @ home.
[ Trade by VikingHammer ]. light unclear light yellow color with a average to large, frothy, good lacing, mostly diminishing, white to off-white head. Aroma is light to moderate malty, light to moderate hoppy, spicy, coriander, lemon notes. Flavor is moderate to light light light heavy sweet and light bitter with a average duration. Body is medium, texture is watery to oily, carbonation is soft. [20090712]

Light golden color. Aroma is of yeast, coriander, and a little citrus. Taste is more or less citrus, yeast, wheat, and full of malts. Aftertaste is more of wheat than anything else. Not my style of beer.

Tap. Poured cloudy yellow with a white head. Aroma of mild hops, wheat, spice (coriander), bready yeast. Taste has a little malt, plleny of wheat, and a good amout of spice, with some citrus fruity notes as well. Body is average and easy drinking. Finish is lightly spiced and fizzy. Overall, an okay belgian white.

Bottled. A hazy thin pale yellow. Big white head. aroma is light hops, wheat, yest, and coriander. Just what you’d expect it to smell like and what you’d expect to be in the brew. Flavor is heavier citrus, spices, and wheat. Not one of my favorites by Avery by any means.

12oz bottle. Pours a hazy white-straw-yellow body with a finger-width, fizzy, white head that dissipates quickly and leaves a good amount of lacing. Aroma is soft flowers, orange peels and lemon, wheat malts, and light spices. Flavor is similar. Wheat malts up front with some flowers and grass, slightly sour citrus, clove, and coriander. Finishes dry with a slightly sweet wheat, spiced orange-peel, medium length aftertaste. Medium body with a slightly fizzy carbonation. Overall, a fairly straightforward wit, but tasty. I’m usually not a fan of the style, but for something so unremarkable, this was alright.

Rather light with a pleasant aroma. As a Central Floridian with a strong sense of all things citrus, I really didn’t find many aspects of a quintessential citrus execution--the hints were a little too ambiguous. Pale, murky yellow with white head and consistent lacing. Not something I’d seek out.

TAP: light yellow pour with a white head. Wheat and orange on the nose. Good wheat/light fruit flavor. More character than most Wits.
