Feb 22, 2009 On tap at the Golden Rail. Pours a hazy yellow with a nice white cap. Aromas of wheat and yeast, with a bit of orangey citrus. Body is medium with a crisp light citrus note. Clean wit style finish, light and refreshing.

Feb 22, 2009 Bottle, I think it had been sitting around for awhile, but it was ok. Pours a hazy yellow with a white head. Aroma full of yeast, spices, oranges, bread and some stone fruits. Flavor is fairly creamy and has good yeast, orange peel, and is a tad sweet. Slighty above average.

Feb 21, 2009 Tap. Light notes of hay, moderate aromas of lemon, herbs, musty and barnyard with hints of clove, white wine, and pineapple. Head is creamy, white, with good lacing and is mostly lasting. Color is hazy pale yellow. Flavor is lightly sweet and acidic to start and finishes lightly acidic and bitter. Palate is light to medium, watery and has a lively carbonation. A Witbier with some nice complex aromas and light flavors to fit the style.

Feb 14, 2009 Hazy milky ultra light yellow with a quickly fading white head. Aroma of yeast, orange peel, coriander with some mild medicinal properties. Creamy body with a light palate tasting of orange peel, yeast, water and eucalyptus. Finishes up spicy to medicinal on the front of the tongue. Why do they brag about that Rocky Mountain water they put in there… It tastes amazingly like water and the beer is just to darn watery for my liking.

Jan 31, 2009 Citrus aroma and flavors combined with coriander and orange peel. Light bodied Wit with thin head and abnormal sized bubbles. Overall crisp, some yeast mustiness obviously an alternate to Hoegarden.

Jan 30, 2009 Crushed with Jakebra. Wow. Finally a wheat ale worth drinking! Some funk on the nose, but plenty of awesome wheat as well. Flavor is incredibly smooth yet flavorful. Lots of wheaty, lemony notes, especially in the burps that follow. One of the best of this style I’ve had. Way to go Avery.

Jan 27, 2009 A worthy Belgian white that the whole family can enjoy. Pours a slightly cloudy light golden color with small white head. Aroma dominated by yeast. Flavor is yeast, orange, coriander, and mild hops. Satisfying and very drinkable. Paired this with lobster on Christmas Eve, which was AWESOME.
