NachlamSie (1630), Tennessee, USA Jan 3, 2009 Bottle at the Fox & Parrot. Pours hazy gold with no real head. The aroma sports some clean cut spiciness in the way of cloves with a pleasant orange/lemon tang to it. The palate is light and suits the style well. I get solid cloves, a husky bitterness, lemons, orange. . .this is a solid Wit. I would drink one of these on a hot summer day and not feel bad about it at all. It aims to quench the thirst while still providing adequate complexity and cleanliness. DrDavid (957), Johnson, Vermont, USA Dec 28, 2008 Bottle. Fresh aroma, quite fruity. Cloudy yellow body, white head. Flavor is fruity, lemon and banana, with notes of yeast. KimJohansen (6645), Copenhagen V, Denmark Dec 25, 2008 Cloudy yellow with tiny white head. Sweet yeasty aroma with wheaty notes. Flavour likewise with a sweet finish. kassner (429), Wexford, Pennsylvania, USA Dec 23, 2008 Nice for style, from bottle, very light in color with slight haze and agood head and lacing. Very fruity with some spice. Thought at first it might be too carbonated but not the case. k9coug (39), USA Dec 15, 2008 This is my second beer from this brewery, and as you can see, I am not imressed. This beer was light enough and though there was little head upon pouring, it ramained active (carbonated) past 20 minutes. I found the taste lemony and dry. Sourness seems faked somehow. hayduke (1619), Eureka, California, USA Dec 3, 2008 Updated: Jan 9, 2009From a 12 oz bottle that cost me 9.69 a six pack at BevMo this poured a hazy yellow with a billowing white head and decent lacing. Nose of banana and citrus, with a smooth light mouthfeel. Flavor is the same banana and citrus, mostly lemon, and the finish is dry. OK for its type. stchloe (473), Portland, Oregon, USA Dec 3, 2008 I love how pale this beer pours, and that rightly so its brewed with orange peel. Fruity and light. And you get to drink the yeast, yum! xShanex (47), Mansfield, Texas, USA Dec 1, 2008 Bottle. Pours a cloudy white yellow with foamy white head. Citrus flavor with bannana hint. Yeast aftertaste. Not quite my style...Have another? No thank you.
