Commercial Description:
A truly authentic Belgian style wheat or "white" ale, this Rascal is unfiltered (yup, that's yeast on the bottom) and cleverly spiced with coriander and Curacao orange peel producing a refreshingly fruity thirst quencher.

(11/4/08) Draught at some place called "Sneak Joint" in Mission Beach, San Diego, that is standing where Liar’s Club used to be. Cloudy yellow with a big white head. Aroma of wheat, orange peels and some coriander - textbook Wit aroma. Sweet wheaty flavor with citrus, some other fruits notes and coriander. Medium-bodied. Quite enjoyable.

Straw color with med. head Smell: orange? Taste: a little citrus, but main taste was the quick hop and carbonation combo Definitely a summer beer - it got up to 78 today! It was refreshing but nothing extraordinary Had a second one - didn’t even finish it; too watery and didn’t see the need to drink something with little flavor

On tap at Pizza Port. Pours a hazy yellow. Lemon zest, banana, spice, and wheat. It’s pretty standard. It would be a nice summer beer.

Bottle. Poured cloudy lemon yellow with a thick white head. Spicy, citrusy and yeasty aroma. Mild flavour, citrus, spice and some breadiness. Thin finish, more spice.

Hazy gold with a small white head. Bananas and orange zest in the nose. Soft wheat flavor with hints of spice. Not bad.

Bottle at the Fox & Parrot. Pours hazy gold with no real head. The aroma sports some clean cut spiciness in the way of cloves with a pleasant orange/lemon tang to it. The palate is light and suits the style well. I get solid cloves, a husky bitterness, lemons, orange. . .this is a solid Wit. I would drink one of these on a hot summer day and not feel bad about it at all. It aims to quench the thirst while still providing adequate complexity and cleanliness.

Cloudy yellow with tiny white head. Sweet yeasty aroma with wheaty notes. Flavour likewise with a sweet finish.
