Ryan82SM (229), Louisville, Kentucky, USA Oct 4, 2008 The aroma gave ample hints of the coriander from the start. The appearance was cloudy and translucent. When drinking this beverage, I noticed the coriander with the citrus in the background. The palate is lively for a medium bodied beverage. Good, but not spectacular. jeffwilliams11 (310), hooterville, Michigan, USA Sep 21, 2008 tap at hopcat for avery beer dinner. pours cloudy off white, lots of yeast and wheat cloudiness...spicy tart flovor, sort of sharp aroma. easy drinking... lumpsowers (235), Oklahoma City, Oklahoma, USA Sep 18, 2008 Nice thick mouthfeel, yeasty cloud, slight malt to start, rushed by overwhelming citrus sweet hops. Not bad, a little too sweet and somewhat disappointing. eboats (887), Omaha, Nebraska, USA Sep 16, 2008 Bottled. Pours cloudy yellow like a very thick lemonade. Aroma is sweet belgian yeast with banana/orange and spices. Flavor is fruity orange and a very thick wheat. Great malt body with some other lighter fruit flavors: lemon, banana, orange peel, light honey. The mouthfeel is very robust for this sytle, and really makes the fruit flavors more noticable as well. The wheat is enough to keep it from being overly sweet. taalhiker (179), Dayton, Ohio, USA Sep 9, 2008 From bottle. August Dayton Beer Tasting event - Favorite Summer Brews. Pours hazy yellow with standard witbier aromas of spice, orange peel and yeast. Falls apart a little on the taste. Thin and too sweet for my palate. PilsnerPeter (2585), Flushing, New York, USA Sep 5, 2008 Tap at Barcade: Pours a cloudy yellow with a creamy white film of head. Decent wheaty nose with spicy/perfumy orange peel and a touch of coriander; standard. Has a light/pillowy feel. The flavor has papery wheat malt upfront, along with mild honey and lemon. The coriander comes through toward the finish. The flavor seems just a tad sweet, but it’s still a pretty good example of the style. boFNjackson (1233), Portland, Oregon, USA Sep 3, 2008 Bottle... Poured a vibrant, pastel yellow with a frothy, white head. Aroma is a bit musty, slight citrus and and a yeast tanginess. A solid crispness to the beer, citrus hops and yeast characters and a spices and coriander. Edgekrusher (83), , Alabama, USA Aug 30, 2008 A light bodied belgian white. More of a sour note than many of the whites that I’ve had in the past. Easy to drink on a hot summer day, I like it, but I probably won’t get much in the future.
