Aromas of corriander, orange, wheat. Flavor is sweet citrus with corriander and slight yeast and malt. Medium body with fizzy carbonation. Average witbier. mhelgason (495), Charlotte, North Carolina, USA May 6, 2008 bottle. average white fizzy head (quickly and mostly dissapating) inot cloudy banana yellow body with minimal lacing. aromas of coves, corriander, wheat and light citrusy orange. watery texture. short duration on finish. average carbonation. not bad white. anders37 (4516), Malmö, Sweden May 5, 2008 Bottle. Thanks to jsquire for this one. Pours a hazy pale yellow color with a white head. Spicy wheat malty aroma with some hints of coriander. Sweetish malty and slightly spicy coriander flavor with some hints of citrus. Hasa malty spicy citrus finish. 17thfloor (1403), Chicago, Illinois, USA May 3, 2008 Pours hazy peach straw colored with a thin fizzy head. Citrus, sour cream, wheaty, coriander and cloves aroma. Surprisingly yeasty flavor, citrus, some sour cream, and not a ton of spices like the aroma would suggest. Excellent drinkability, the yeast & orange peel together really adds that balancing character. Crisp soda like carbonation with a medium body. Good stuff, its hard to come across a proper wheat. durhambeer (1187), Durham, USA May 3, 2008 Bright pale white/gold pour. A little good funk with the yeast and wheat. On tap at Raleigh WBF, and one of my last pours. Notes are indecipherable, but I do know that I found this above average... but not too far above average. Noobling87 (17), Oregon, USA Apr 28, 2008 Smells great, but the spices are a bit ovecrpowering. The silky head lingers for some time, and bit much for my own tastes. Either way, a good ’white’ ale that trys hard. mmather (113), Colorado, USA Apr 27, 2008 from a 12 oz bottle and from the brewery, on tap and lots of other places. Pretty beer (can I say that?) as it pours with a nice silky head, smells nice and all that. Spices are way over the top for a wit bier, but I suppose that is typical for the over the top Avery style. That said, the beer still is a very nice one and I like it a lot. However, as a wit bier the spices dominate way too much to make it one of the best of its ilk.
