Pours a sunny yellow, hazy and vigorously carbed, with a lasting white head and a stunning display of gravity-defying lace. An orgy of fruit dominates the nose- orange, apricot, honeydew, watermelon, strawberry- with floral notes (jasmine, gardenia) and a warm, cumin-y toastiness. NO banana! Flavor is dry and bready, hinting at honey and sunflower seeds, subtle spice and even subtler minerally phenols. Finshes with mild lemonlike acidity and an impression of lightly roasted coffee beans. Strange but not off-putting vegetal aftertaste... cauliflower? Bright acidity and brisk carbonation rescues the otherwise thinnish, insubstantial mouthfeel. Overall, thankfully far less candylike than Blue Moon, and far more interesting/not sour than some less-popular Belgian renditions. All elements are subtle, appropriate and superbly balanced... maybe the finest commercial example of the style I’ve sampled to date.

I thought this was quite enjoyable. Really tame and light with some floral and citrusy characteristics. Bready, with your clove and banana, with just a hint of bubblegum and this may sound strange, but a hint of mustard seed. This would be a great cheese pairing beer.

bottle given to me by BeerGestapo. let me first say that this is probably the coolest art I have ever seen on a bottle of beer. it reminds me of the old DC/Vertigo comic "The Sandman".

pours a well carbonated lemon peel yellow with a super bright white head. lots of banana in the nose as well as some citrus and clove. bready flavor with some banana. very smooth palate. not bad.

Bottle from Cellars Lex-Larp (St. Paul). Fresh Belgian wheat aroma with banana esters. If every a beer was "white" this beer is white. Cloudy with lots of visible carbonation and a thin, white head. Maybe a little drier than I would have preferred. But otherwise a very good representation of the style. Not an exciting brew, but perhaps somewhat under appreciated.

Slightly cloudy golden pee-pee color with small ring of foam, does leave some lace. Yeast, banana, citrus, baked beans... Soft, yeasty wheat with banana, hint of spice (very mild clove). Pretty light and easy to drink. Bit of citrus and definitely doesn’t overdo the spice. Moderate medium taste for the style.

bottle into glass. aroma was of citrus and a little spice. not much head when poured, not a cloudy as most wheat ales. taste is definitely citrus and a bit of floral honey. taste quickly dissipates, leaving no aftertaste to speak of. refreshing, not heavy at all, but the flavor is gone so fast it doesnt really warrant repeat purchase. id go with a strong hefe instead.

Bottle, 12 oz. Nice cloudy and hazy straw yellow. Citrus aroma. Notes of citrus, coriander, and banana. A refeshing beer for those warm spring days.

(USA) Hazy yellow color with a sm-white head. there is a strong orangepeel / Spice aroma here, kinda stinks..... The taste has a clove / citrus feel. there is a light carbonation to this Belgian style. check out the Yeast on the bottom of the bottle......... very Interesting.
